28 Andromedae (abbreviated 28 And) is a Delta Scuti variable star in the constellation Andromeda. 28 Andromedae is the Flamsteed designation. It also bears the variable star name GN Andromedae. Its apparent magnitude is 5.214, varying by less than 0.1 magnitudes.
28 Andromedae is an A-type giant star, [4] meaning it is colored bluish-white. Parallax estimates made by the Hipparcos spacecraft put the star at a distance of about 199 light years (61 parsecs). [2] It is moving towards the solar system at a velocity of 10.30 km/s . [7]
Two stars near 28 Andromedae share a common proper motion with the primary star, which is then a candidate triple system. The orbital parameters are currently unknown. The second and third component have masses of 0.71 M☉ and 0.14 M☉ respectively. [13]
28 Andromedae A is a Delta Scuti variable, so it displays small luminosity variations at timescales less than a day due to star pulsation. There is evidence for two periodic cycles of 5,014 and 5,900 seconds, respectively. The amplitude variations, though, are not constant in time, and the pulsation modes are not radial. [14]

Chi Serpentis is a solitary star in the Serpens Caput section of the equatorial constellation Serpens. Based upon an annual parallax shift of 14.84 mas as seen from Earth, it is located around 222 light years from the Sun. The star is bright enough to be faintly visible to the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of +5.30.
Upsilon Ursae Majoris, Latinized from υ Ursae Majoris, is a binary star in the northern circumpolar constellation of Ursa Major. It is visible to the naked eye with an apparent visual magnitude of +3.79. Based upon an annual parallax shift of 13.24 mas, it is located roughly 246 light-years from the Sun.
Psi Velorum, Latinized from ψ Velorum, is a binary star system in the southern constellation of Vela. Based upon an annual parallax shift of 53.15 mas as seen from Earth, it is located 61.4 light years from the Sun. It is visible to the naked eye with a combined apparent visual magnitude of +3.58. The motion of this system through space makes it a candidate member of the Castor stellar kinematic group.
66 Andromedae is a binary star system in the northern constellation of Andromeda, near the northern border with Perseus. The designation is from the star catalogue of English astronomer John Flamsteed, first published in 1712. It has a combined apparent magnitude of 6.16, which is near the lower limit of stars that are visible to the naked eye under good seeing conditions. An annual parallax shift of 18.3 mas provides a distance estimate of 178 light years. The net radial velocity of the system is poorly constrained, but the pair appear to be moving closer to the Earth with a heliocentric radial velocity of around −5 km/s.
26 Arietis is a variable star in the northern constellation of Aries. 26 Arietis is the Flamsteed designation; it also bears the variable star designation UU Arietis. The apparent visual magnitude of this star is 6.14, which, according to the Bortle Dark-Sky Scale, is within the naked eye visibility limit in dark rural skies. The annual parallax shift of 13.78 mas is equivalent to a distance of approximately 215 light-years from Earth. The star is receding from the Earth with a heliocentric radial velocity of +15 km/s.
28 Aquilae, abbreviated 28 Aql, is a star in the equatorial constellation of Aquila. 28 Aquilae is its Flamsteed designation though it also bears the Bayer designation A Aquilae, and the variable star designation V1208 Aquilae. It has an apparent visual magnitude is 5.5, making this a faint star that requires dark suburban skies to view. The annual parallax shift of 9.6 mas means this star is located at a distance of approximately 340 light-years from Earth.
14 Aurigae is a quadruple star system located 269 light years away from the Sun in the zodiac constellation of Auriga. Its spectral classification is B2V, meaning that it's a hot main sequence star, emitting light approximately with a blackbody spectrum at an effective temperature of 18,090 K.
