Admiral Laxminarayan Ramdas, PVSM, AVSM, VrC, VSM, ADC served as Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy, taking the reins on 30 November 1990. Ramdas has served as Aam Aadmi Party's internal lokpal.
Garhwal is one of the two administrative divisions of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Sushil Kumar is the divisional commissioner of the Garhwal Division since December 2021.

Kedarnath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple is located in the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river in Uttarakhand, India. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open to the general public only between April and November. During the winters, the vigraha (deity) of the temple is carried down to Ukhimath to be worshipped for the next six months.
