Altenheim are historical buildings in Oakland, California. The Altenheim buildings were started in 1908. The buildings were listed to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 2007. The Altenheim is complex of buildings and gardens. There are three main buildings: The Altenheim building, the older part is from 1908 with a 1914 addition. The Excelsior building built in 1926, and the Boiler House built in 1914. The architects for the buildings were Oscar Haupt and Robert Frost. Altenheim was built in the Classical Revival and Colonial Revival architecture. The site is currently the Altenheim senior citizen residence at 1720 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland. The Altenheim, (German for Elder’s Home or old people’s home), was founded by German speaking immigrants in the 1890s. The buildings have been modernized on the interior and won the Partners in Preservation Award from the Oakland Heritage Alliance in 2007. The original 1893 buildings, built by the Altenheim Society, were replace with the current buildings after a fire. [2] [3] [4]

The Arden Park–East Boston Historic District is a neighborhood located in Detroit, Michigan, bounded on the west by Woodward Avenue, on the north by East Boston Boulevard, on the east by Oakland Avenue, and on the south by Arden Park Boulevard. The area is immediately adjacent to the much larger and better-known Boston-Edison Historic District, which is on the west side of Woodward Avenue, and also close to the Atkinson Avenue which is just south of Boston-Edison. There are 92 homes in the district, all on East Boston or Arden Park Boulevards. Arden Park Boulevard and East Boston Boulevard feature prominent grassy medians with richly planted trees and flowers. The setbacks of the homes are deep, with oversized lots. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Delaware County National Bank is a historic bank building in Chester, Pennsylvania, located at the southwest corner of 3rd Street and Avenue of the States adjacent to the Old St. Paul's Church burial ground. It was built between 1882 and 1884, and is a 2+12-story masonry building in the Renaissance Revival style. It is built of brick and brownstone and has a low hipped slate-covered roof. Harrison and Fifteenth Streets Historic District is a group of seven historical buildings in downtown Oakland, California. The Harrison and Fifteenth Street Historic District buildings wre built betwwen 1914 to 1929. The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1996. The Harrison and Fifteenth Streets. Historic District covers: 1401–1501 Harrison Street, 300–312 14th Street and 300–349 15th Street. The Harrison and Fifteenth Streets. Historic District includes the Mrs. A.E. White Building at 327-349 15th Street that was also designated an Oakland Landmark (LM-85-319) in 1985. The Mrs. A.E. White three-story building is a Tudor building designed by architect Clay N. Burrell. Most of the buildings were built in the late 19th and 20th Century Revival architecture.
