Amar Babaria is an Indian actor, translator and voice over actor. He speaks Hindi, Hindustani, English, Gujarati, Marathi and Urdu.[ citation needed ]

Early life and career

Babaria was born and raised in Mumbai in a Gujarati family. He has two elder sisters. He acted in school and made his professional debut while still in college, in 1995, in the English play "Carry on Professor".[ citation needed ] In 1997, he travelled to the US and Canada to perform in the Gujrati play Derani Jethani.[ citation needed ] He appeared in three Hindi plays: Maa Retire Hoti Hai and Dr. Mukta,k both in 2000, and Pati, Patni Aur Mein in 2002. [1] All three were directed by Ramesh Talwar.[ citation needed ] These plays were performed across India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.[ citation needed ] Since 2005, Babaria has appeared in television commercials, corporate videos, films and music videos.[ citation needed ] He has also translated film scripts and done voice acting work since 1996.[ citation needed ] He owns a production house called Actors and Models.[ citation needed ]
