Arielulus is a genus of vesper bats with the following species: [1]

Genus Arielulus

The collared sprite (T. aureocollaris) and necklace sprite (T. torquatus) in the genus Thainycteris were formerly also classified in Arielulus, but phylogenetic evidence supports them forming a distinct genus. [2] [3]

Treeshrew Order of mammals

The treeshrews are small mammals native to the tropical forests of South and Southeast Asia. They make up the entire order Scandentia, which split into two families: the Tupaiidae, and the Ptilocercidae.

Vespertilionidae Family of microbats

Vespertilionidae is a family of microbats, of the order Chiroptera, flying, insect-eating mammals variously described as the common, vesper, or simple nosed bats. The vespertilionid family is the most diverse and widely distributed of bat families, specialised in many forms to occupy a range of habitats and ecological circumstances, and it is frequently observed or the subject of research. The facial features of the species are often simple, as they mainly rely on vocally emitted echolocation. The tails of the species are enclosed by the lower flight membranes between the legs. Over 300 species are distributed all over the world, on every continent except Antarctica. It owes its name to the genus Vespertilio, which takes its name from a word for bat, vespertilio, derived from the Latin term vesper meaning 'evening'; they are termed "evening bats" and were once referred to as "evening birds".

Spalax Genus of rodents

Spalax is a genus of rodent in the family Spalacidae. It is one of two extant genera in the subfamily Spalacinae, alongside Nannospalax.

Arvicolinae Subfamily of rodents

The Arvicolinae are a subfamily of rodents that includes the voles, lemmings, and muskrats. They are most closely related to the other subfamilies in the Cricetidae. Some authorities place the subfamily Arvicolinae in the family Muridae along with all other members of the superfamily Muroidea. Some refer to the subfamily as the Microtinae or rank the taxon as a full family, the Arvicolidae.

Lemmini

Lemmini is a tribe of lemmings in the subfamily Arvicolinae. Species in this tribe are:

Long-nosed mongoose Species of mongoose from Central Africa

The long-nosed mongoose is a mongoose native to Central African wetlands and rainforests. It has been listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List since 1996.

Ondatrini

Ondatrini is a tribe of semiaquatic rodents in the family Arvicolinae. They are known as muskrats. They are related to voles and lemmings.

Collared sprite Species of bat

The collared sprite or collared pipistrelle is a species of vesper bat found in Laos and Thailand.

Bronze sprite Species of bat

The bronze sprite, also known as the black-gilded pipistrelle, is a species of vesper bat found in China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal.

Coppery sprite Species of bat

The coppery sprite, also known as the coppery pipistrelle, is a species of vesper bat found only in Malaysia.

Social sprite Species of bat

The social sprite, also known as the socialpipistrelle, is a species of vesper bat found only in Malaysia on the Malay Peninsula.

Necklace sprite Species of bat

The necklace sprite or necklace pipistrelle is a species of vesper bat endemic to Taiwan.

Nannospalax Genus of rodents

Nannospalax is a genus of rodent in the family Spalacidae, found in eastern Europe and western Asia. It is one of two genera in the blind mole-rats, alongside Spalax. Members of this genus are also known as small-bodied mole-rats. As with members of the genus Spalax, they are completely blind, with their eyes being entirely covered by skin.

Collared mongoose Species of mongoose from Southeast Asia

The collared mongoose is a mongoose species native to Borneo and Sumatra; its presence in the Philippines is uncertain. It is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List.

Shingopana is a genus of titanosaurian sauropod from the Upper Cretaceous Galula Formation of Tanzania. It is known from only the type species, S. songwensis. Gorscak & O'Connor's phylogenetic testing suggest Shingopana is more closely related to the South American titanosaur family of Aeolosaurini than any of the titanosaurs found so far in North & South Africa.

Carnivoraformes Clade of placental mammals

Carnivoraformes ("carnivora-shaped") is a clade of placental mammals that includes the modern order Carnivora and its extinct stem-relatives.

Thainycteris is a genus of vesper bat with two species, one found in Indochina and the other found in Taiwan. Its members were previously classified within Arielulus, but more recent studies support Thainycteris as being a distinct genus.

Perimyotini

Perimyotini is a tribe of bats in the family Vespertilionidae. It contains two species of bats found in North America, each in their own monotypic genus.
