Arncott Bridge Meadows is an 8.7-hectare (21-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Arncott in Oxfordshire. [1] [2]
The site is adjacent to the River Ray and in its flood plain. It is old unimproved hay meadows which display medieval ridge and furrow features, showing that it has not been ploughed for centuries. It lies on Oxford Clay, and some areas are seasonally waterlogged. It has a wide variety of plants, such as false fox-sedge in wetter areas, and crested dog's-tail in drier ones. There are some rare species, such as the nationally uncommon narrow-leaved water-dropwort, and the river bank also has unusual plants. [1]
The site is private land with no public access, but it can be viewed from Ploughley Road.
Chimney Meadows is a 49.6-hectare (123-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest between Abingdon-on-Thames and Faringdon in Oxfordshire. It is also a national nature reserve, and part of the 308-hectare (760-acre) Chimney Meadows nature reserve, which is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.

Frays Farm Meadows is a 28.2-hectare (70-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest near Denham in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It was notified as an SSSI in 1981, and has been managed by the London Wildlife Trust on behalf of Hillingdon Council since 1999. It is part of the Colne Valley Regional Park.
Roding Valley Meadows is an 18.9-hectare (47-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Buckhurst Hill in Essex. It is part of a 65.2 hectare Local Nature Reserve with the same name, which is owned by Epping Forest District Council and Grange Farm Trust, and managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust.
Frogmore Meadows is a 4.6-hectare (11-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, north of the village of Chenies. It consists of two meadows in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, next to the River Chess, one of which is a Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trust nature reserve. The planning authorities are Three Rivers District Council, Dacorum Borough Council and Chiltern District Council.
Sarratt Bottom nature Reserve in Hertfordshire is a 3.2-hectare (7.9-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest. The site is a meadow beside the River Chess. It is an example of damp grassland which has been traditionally managed for grazing. There are also areas of swamp and marsh. The main plants in grassland areas include sweet vernal grass and meadow foxtail, and marsh horsetail and common spike-rush are common in damper areas. The site has hedgehogs and a wide variety of wetland birds and invertebrates.
Frieth Meadows is a 2.5-hectare (6.2-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest in Frieth in Buckinghamshire. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Old Rectory Meadows is a 7.9-hectare (20-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest in Denham in Buckinghamshire.

It is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I, and part of Oxford Meadows Special Area of Conservation. The remains of Godstow Abbey, which is a Scheduled Monument, are in the north of the site.
