Little Tew Meadows is a 40-hectare (99-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. [1] [2]
This site is composed of four adjoining unimproved meadows. One is used for hay while the rest are managed by cattle grazing. Two have prominent ridge and furrow dating to medieval farming practices. There are also extensive flushes and outcrops of limestone around the site of a former quarry. [3]
The Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust (LRWT) is one of 46 wildlife trusts across the United Kingdom. It manages nature reserves in Leicestershire and Rutland, and was founded in 1956 as the Leicestershire and Rutland Trust for Nature Conservation. As of January 2018, it has over 16,000 members, a staff of about 25 and more than 500 volunteers. It is based in Leicester, and is managed by a Council of Trustees which is elected by the members. It is a charity which covers all aspects of nature conservation, and works to protect wild places and wildlife.
Syon Park is the 56.6 hectare garden of Syon House, the London home of the Duke of Northumberland in Isleworth in the London Borough of Hounslow. It was landscaped by Capability Brown in the 18th century, and it is Grade I listed by English Heritage under the Historic Buildings and Ancient Monuments Act 1953 for its special historic interest. The 56.6 hectare main gardens are a Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade I, and the flood meadows next to the River Thames are a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation.
Blenheim Park is a 224.3-hectare (554-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the outskirts of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. It occupies most of the grounds of Blenheim Palace.
Brampton Meadow is a one hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-west of Brampton in Cambridgeshire, England.

Temple Island Meadows is a 14.1-hectare (35-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the Buckinghamshire bank of the River Thames. It is north of Henley-on-Thames and opposite Temple Island, an island in the Thames.
Ashdown Park is a 9.3-hectare (23-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) south of Ashbury in Oxfordshire. The SSSI is part of the park of Ashdown House.
Castor Flood Meadows is a 41.8 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the western outskirts of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.
Coombe Wood, Frilsham is a 19.3-hectare (48-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Frilsham in Berkshire. It is in the North Wessex Downs, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Dungee Corner Meadow is a 5.1 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Bozeat in Northamptonshire.
Lockington Marshes is an 11.3 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Ratcliffe on Soar in Leicestershire.
Burton Park SSSI is a 57.7-hectare (143-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Pulborough in West Sussex. A larger area of 63 hectares, including Chingford Pond to the west, is designated a Local Nature Reserve called Burton and Chingford Ponds, which is managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust and West Sussex County Council. The site is adjacent to Burton Park, a Grade I listed building.
Rushy Meadows is an 8.9-hectare (22-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the western outskirts of Kidlington in Oxfordshire.

Port Meadow with Wolvercote Common and Green is a 167.1-hectare (413-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Oxford in Oxfordshire. It is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I, and part of Oxford Meadows Special Area of Conservation. The remains of Godstow Abbey, which is a Scheduled Monument, are in the north of the site.
Alresford Pond is a 30.2-hectare (75-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in New Alresford in Hampshire.
Bere Mill Meadows is a 10.3-hectare (25-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Whitchurch in Hampshire.
Coombe Wood and The Lythe is a 44-hectare (110-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Bordon in Hampshire. It is part of East Hampshire Hangers Special Area of Conservation and Combe Wood is a National Trust property.
