June 27, 2010 - Northern Khabarovsk Krai - Mil Mi-8T crash-landed due to the failure of the tail rotor. The onboard mechanic received minor injuries, other crew members and passengers were not injured. [2]
Khabarovsk is the largest city and the administrative centre of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia, located 30 kilometers (19 mi) from the China-Russia Border, at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers, about 800 kilometers (500 mi) north of Vladivostok. The city was the administrative center of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia from 2002 until December 2018, when Vladivostok took over that role. It is the largest city in the Russian Far East, having overtaken Vladivostok in 2015. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 577,441. It was previously known as Khabarovka. As typical of the interior of the Russian Far East, Khabarovsk has an extreme climate with very strong seasonal swings resulting in strong winter cold and relatively hot and humid summers.

Khabarovsk Novy Airport is an airport located at the eastern part of Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. Khabarovsk Novy Airport was the main hub for the Russian airline Dalavia, which was shut down by the government due to large debts. Vladivostok Air replaced the role of Dalavia, and Khabarovsk was "upgraded" into a secondary hub for Vladivostok Air. Vladivostok Air was later merged into Aurora.

It is located in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia, c. 600 km (373 mi) west-southwest of Okhotsk, or c. 570 km (354 mi) south-east of Yakutsk. It is reached from Yakutsk by road via Amga. The Russian route R297 or the Amur Highway is a federal highway in Russia, part of the Trans-Siberian Highway. With a length of 2,100 km (1,300 mi), it is the longest segment, from Chita to Khabarovsk, connecting the paved roads of Siberia with those of the Russian Far East. The construction of the road united the Russian federal highways into a single system stretching from Saint Petersburg to Vladivostok. Before completion of the road, the Russian Pacific coast was connected to the rest of the country only by airlines, the Trans-Siberian Railway, and the Baikal–Amur Mainline.

Established in 2004, the airline operates nine Antonov and Let aircraft as of December 2016. Its flight schedule, accessed in December 2016, states that Khabarovsk Airlines flies to ten destinations.
The Priamur electoral district was a constituency created for the 1917 Russian Constituent Assembly election. The Priamur electoral district consisted of the Amur Oblast, the Maritime Province and the Sakhalin Oblast. However, local leaders had preferred to have three separate constituencies. The election was held on time in the constituency.
Khabarovsk Airlines Flight 463 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Nikolayevsk-on-Amur Airport to Nelkan Airport in Russia. On 15 November 2017 the Let L-410 Turbolet operating the flight crashed short of the runway at Nelkan airport, killing all but one of the seven people on board. The sole survivor was a three-year-old girl who sustained serious injuries. The crash was caused by a malfunction of the right engine's propeller.
