George Washington was a Founding Father of the United States, military officer, and planter who served as the first president of the United States from 1789 to 1797. Appointed commander of the Continental Army in 1775, Washington led Patriot forces to victory in the American Revolutionary War. He then served as president of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, which drafted the current Constitution of the United States. Washington has thus become commonly known as the "Father of His Country".

The Nobel Prizes are five separate prizes awarded to those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind, as established by the 1895 will of Swedish chemist, engineer, and industrialist Alfred Nobel, in the year before he died. Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator was pharaoh of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC. She reigned as dominant co-monarch in ruling unions with her two brothers and her son, Caesarion, and thus was effectively the last active ruler of her dynasty. A member of the Ptolemaic line, she was a descendant of its founder Ptolemy I Soter, a Macedonian Greek general and companion of Alexander the Great. Michael Andrew Fox, known professionally as Michael J. Fox, is a Canadian and American activist and retired actor. The expansion of the mining colony threatens the continued existence of a local tribe of Na'vi, a humanoid species indigenous to Pandora. The title of the film refers to a genetically engineered Na'vi body operated from the brain of a remotely located human that is used to interact with the natives of Pandora.
