Azara is a locality in the western part of Guwahati.
Located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Guwahati Airport, it is surrounded by the localities of Borjhar and Jalukbari, and bounded by Dipor Bil to its east.
Azara Post Office (established in the oldest building of the locality) covers the area up to Chakardeo towards the east, Greenland Nursing Home towards the south, Dharapur towards the north and Garal-Bhattapara towards the west.
The Air Force Colony is situated in Mountain Shadow. The Air Force Colony provides residence to families of defence personnel. Accoland, an amusement park is located in the nearby Patgaon village.
Azara houses the Azara railway station, which is accessible by the city-wide bus system. The Azara godhuli bazar is famous for its antique system of buying/selling (prices are determined by the volume) of local fishes.

Namrup is a small town situated close to the foothills of the Patkai Hills in the extreme southeastern part of Assam, India. The river Dihing or Disang flows through it. Namrup is situated in amidst wet-paddy fields, indigenous Assamese villages, orchards, large tea-gardens and densely forested hills. Administratively Namrup is located within Dibrugarh district and is today an important industrial town of Assam. Namrup is approximately 75 km from Dibrugarh by road towards south-east and approximately 50 km from Tinsukia towards south. It is also a small railway station in Dibrugarh-Guwahati broad-gauge railway line. The nearest airport is Dibrugarh located at a distance of approximately 70 km. Bongaigaon is a major city in the Indian state of Assam. Its urban area spans across Bongaigaon and Chirang district. As of 2018-19 data available with Airports Authority of India, Silchar Airport is 47th busiest airport in India and the 49th busiest in respect of aircraft movement. Silchar Airport is 43rd busiest in cargo transportation, as of 2017-18.
