Baker High School is an accredited public high school in Baker, Louisiana. It is a part of the City of Baker School System.
Baker High School was founded in the early 1900s and resides in Baker, [3] a town in north East Baton Rouge Parish. BHS provides an assortment of regular and honors level courses, and College Dual Enrollment opportunities with BRCC.
All 10th through 12th grade students are required to wear uniforms which includes a red polo style shirt with khakis. [4] There is a ninth grade academy in which students are required to wear white uniform shirts.
The school auditorium, a fan-shaped Modernist structure built in 1959, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 29, 2014. [5]
Baker competes in the LHSAA 3A athletic class and all home sporting events are held on campus (field and gym sports). Current Athletic Director is Eric Randall

The Symphony Of Soul marching band is Baker High School's marching band. Symphony Of Soul performs at the school's football games as well as at parades.

Baton Rouge Magnet High School is a public magnet school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, founded in 1880. It is part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System with a student body of approximately 1500 students. The current building was built in 1926, and, as Baton Rouge High School, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The campus underwent a two-year renovation and expansion starting in 2010, resulting in the addition of two new wings to the main building. This renovation was completed and the school reopened in fall 2012. Baton Rouge High is also one of the highest-ranked schools in the state, and consistently wins state-level academic competitions. The school requires students to pass enrollment standards and exceed graduation standards. As a result, nearly all graduating students attend college.

Marcus Rayshon Spears, nicknamed "Swagu", is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football for the LSU Tigers, earning consensus All-American honors. Spears was selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft. He also played in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens.

Jerry Lane Stovall , nicknamed "Mr. Everything", is an American former football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He played college football for the LSU Tigers, where he was a unanimous selection to the 1962 College Football All-America Team as a halfback. Stovall played professionally as a safety and punter in the National Football League (NFL) with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1963 to 1971. Stovall served as the head football coach at his alma mater, LSU, from 1980 to 1983, compiling a record of 22–21–2 in four seasons and leading the 1982 team to an appearance in the 1983 Orange Bowl. He was the athletic director at Louisiana Tech University from 1990 to 1993. He is the only player in LSU history to be named a unanimous All-American (1962), be selected to the college football hall of fame (2010), be selected as a first round pick (1963), and to be selected to the pro bowl.

Gregory Louis LaFleur is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). LaFleur was selected in the third round by the Philadelphia Eagles out of Louisiana State University in the 1981 NFL draft. LaFleur has also been a member of the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Cardinals. He had career statistics of 64 Receptions and 3 Touchdowns. He is the father of former NBA center Robert Sacre. His youngest son Greyson LaFleur is a linebacker at College of the Desert.
