Bambi is the third Korean-language extended play (fourth overall) by South Korean singer Baekhyun. It was released on March 30, 2021, by SM Entertainment and contains six tracks, including the single "Amusement Park", released on December 21, 2020 and the lead single of the same name.
On April 20, 2021, it was announced that a remix version of "Bambi" would be released on April 23 as a single titled, iScreaM Vol.8 : Bambi Remixes, working by DJ and producer BRLLNT and h4rdy. [3] [4]
Bambi was announced on March 4, 2021, as Baekhyun's final release before his mandatory military service. [5] [6] SM Entertainment began releasing teasers and a mood-sampler video on March 10 through Exo's official social media accounts.
The album and its title track's music video were released on March 30 at 6PM KST both digitally and physically. [7]
An hour before the music video and album's release, Baekhyun appeared on a live broadcast through the Naver app V Live, where he promoted and discussed the album. [8] On April 9, Baekhyun won his first Music Bank trophy with "Bambi". Contrary to his previous album releases, Baekhyun did not attend or perform on any Korean music show, citing his service obligations as the reason. [9]
On March 30, hours before the album's release, Korean news media reported that pre-orders had surpassed 833,392 copies, making Bambi the most pre-ordered album by a soloist in South Korean history. [7] The record was previously held by Baekhyun's second mini album Delight (2020). [10] Bambi debuted at number one on the week 14 issue of the Gaon Album Chart for the period March 28–April 3, 2021 giving Baekhyun his third domestic chart-topper.[ citation needed ] With only two days of availability, [11] the album sold a total of 591,944 copies and topped the monthly chart for March. [12] On April 19, it was announced that the album had surpassed 1 million copies sold, making it Baekhyun's second to reach this milestone after Delight. [13]
Internationally, the album debuted at number 15 on Billboard 's World Albums chart in the United States, giving Baekhyun his third entry on the World ranking. [14]

Exo is a South Korean-Chinese boy band based in Seoul formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin and Japanese.
Park Chan-yeol, better known mononymously as Chanyeol, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, actor and model. He is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo, its sub-group Exo-K and sub-unit Exo-SC, and debuted as soloist on August 28, 2024, with his first extended play (EP) Black Out. Kim Jun-myeon, better known by his stage name Suho, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is the leader of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo and its sub-unit Exo-K. Kim Jong-dae, better known by his stage name, Chen (Korean: 첸), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Exo, its subgroup Exo-M and its subunit Exo-CBX, and participated in SM's projects SM the Ballad. He is predominantly known for his role as the vocalist of Exo. Apart from his group's activities, Chen has also recorded songs for various television dramas, most notably "Best Luck" for It's Okay, That's Love (2014) and "Everytime" for Descendants of the Sun (2016).
Exo-CBX is the first sub-unit of South Korean–Chinese boy band Exo, consists of three members: Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Chen. They debuted on October 31, 2016 with the extended play (EP) Hey Mama!.
