Baylor-Meadows is a neighborhood in east Dallas, Texas (USA). The neighborhood is anchored by the Baylor Medical Center, The Wilson Historic District, and the Dallas Latino Cultural Center.
The Wilson Historic District is owned and maintained by the Meadows Foundation, and comprises a number of restored Victorian homes. It was established in 1981 to provide rent-free office space for non-profit organizations. [1]
Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas is a not-for-profit hospital. It has 914 licensed beds and is one of the major centers for patient care, medical training and research North Texas. In 2017, it was named by the U.S. News & World Report in its list of "America's Best Hospitals" for the twenty-fifth consecutive year. [2]
The Latino Cultural Center in Dallas serves as a regional center for the preservation, development, and promotion of Latino and Hispanic arts and culture. The 27,000 square-foot facility, known for its vivid colors and solid exteriors, was designed by architect Ricardo Legorreta and opened in 2003. It contains a 300-seat theater, a multi-purpose room, an art gallery and sculpture courtyards that are widely used by local, regional, and international artists. [3]

Vickery is an ethnically-diverse neighborhood consisting almost exclusively of apartment complexes in Northeast Dallas, Texas, United States. The Midtown Improvement District states the neighborhood is bounded by Northwest Highway, Royal Lane, Central Expressway, and Abrams. The City of Dallas Office of Economic Development states that the boundaries of the Vickery Meadow Tax Increment Financing district, which was established in 2005, are “the east side of the intersection of US 75 and Park Lane and extends eastward along Park Lane to the ‘Five Points’ intersection at Park Lane, Fair Oaks Avenue and Ridgecrest Road.” Leslie Minora of the Dallas Observer described it as "a dense swath of about 100 apartment complexes cradled by NorthPark Center and Whole Foods to the west and Half Price books [sic] to the south. It's an overlooked anthill, population 25,000, packed with people here by circumstance."

The Baylor Teen Health Clinic, also known as the Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinic, is a network of nine clinics located in Houston, Texas. Established in 1968, initially as a maternity program for teens, the Baylor Teen Health Clinic now offers comprehensive reproductive health and family planning care at free or low-cost to males and females ages 13–25. The clinic also provides general health counseling as well as prenatal care and postpartum training to teen-age boys and girls. Today the clinics welcome over 26,000 patient visits per year.
The Wilson Block is a historic district located in east Dallas, Texas and was one of the first residential developments in Dallas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The houses have been restored and are maintained to preserve their turn-of-the-century Victorian revival style architecture.
