Richardson is a city in Dallas and Collin counties in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 United States census, the city had a total population of 119,469. Richardson is an inner suburb of the city of Dallas.

By 2023, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated that the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area's population had increased to 8,100,037, with the highest numerical growth of any metropolitan area in the United States.

The Orange Line is a 37-mile (60 km) light rail line in the Dallas, Texas metropolitan area. The line is operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit as a part of its DART light rail system. It is the only east-west line in the system.
The City Center District is an area in north-central downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). It lies south of the Arts District, north of the Main Street District, northwest of Deep Ellum, southwest of Bryan Place and east of the West End Historic District. Centered along tree-lined Exposition Avenue, the small enclave stretches from the eastern edge of Deep Ellum to the entrance of Fair Park. The area includes Exposition Plaza, a one acre special use park established in 1984 that features an amphitheater and sculpture areas.

Forest Meadow is a suburban residential neighborhood within the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas. The neighborhood is thought of today as being bounded by Greenville Avenue on the west, Whitehurst Drive on the south, Abrams Road on the east, and an alley demarcating the neighborhood from businesses and apartment blocks on Forest Lane to the north. However, the earliest plats identified by the name "Forest Meadows" were east of Abrams Road and some plats were south of Whitehurst Drive. These eastern areas are now generally considered part of Town Creek for neighborhood association purposes. Earlier plats used the name "Forest Meadows" and this nomenclature is also in use to describe neighborhoods in the area.

Uptown is north of and adjacent to downtown Dallas, and is bordered by US 75 on the east, N Haskell Avenue on the northeast, the Katy Trail on the northwest, Bookhout Street and Cedar Springs Road on the west, N Akard Street on the southwest and Spur 366 on the south.

UNT Dallas station is a DART light rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located on the University of North Texas at Dallas campus at 7300 University Hills Road, and serves as the southern terminus of the Blue Line. It was constructed as part of the Southern Oak Cliff extension, and opened on October 24, 2016 along with the Camp Wisdom station. DART has hoped that this extension will help spur development south of Ledbetter along the new corridor to UNT Dallas. Bus access, kiss & ride access, general parking, and handicap parking will be provided at both stations of this new extension.
