Lake Highlands is a neighborhood constituting most of Northeast Dallas. The neighborhood is a collection of dozens of subdivisions served by RISD public schools, as well as an array of private schools.
Bryan Place is a neighborhood in Old East Dallas, Texas (USA). It is east of the Arts District of downtown and the State Thomas neighborhood, north of Deep Ellum, south of Cityplace and west of Munger Place. Its boundaries are generally considered to be US-75 North Central Expressway on the west, Ross Avenue on the (north)west, N. Washington Street on the (north)east, and Live Oak Avenue on the (south)east.
The City Center District is an area in north-central downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). It lies south of the Arts District, north of the Main Street District, northwest of Deep Ellum, southwest of Bryan Place and east of the West End Historic District. The district contains a large concentration of downtown commercial space which prior to 1950 had been concentrated along Main Street. The district also contains remnants of Theatre Row, the historical entertainment area along Elm Street which contained theatres such as the Majestic Theatre.

Highland Hills is a neighborhood in the southern sector of Dallas, Texas (USA). The neighborhood is centered on the intersection of Bonnie View and Simpson Stuart roads. Established in the early 1960s, it was a racially tense neighborhood, which was divided by poor whites and well to do blacks. Through the early '70s, many blacks flocked to Highland Hills, and it became a close knit community creating many businesses and revenue for the area. In the '80s, there was a downfall in the area, and it fell victim to a sharp increase in crime. Today, it is an overwhelming majority African American community.

According to the Greater Casa View Alliance, the Greater Casa View area is bordered by Buckner Boulevard, Garland Road, I-635 and Oates to the city line of neighboring Mesquite. The area has traditionally been nearly synonymous with the adjoining Casa Linda neighborhood but is gaining momentum in its own right and was named by D Magazine as one of "5 Neighborhoods on the Rise" in its July 2016 issue.

The area has strong social and economic ties to the Dallas enclave of Park Cities, and two inner suburbs of Dallas, Richardson and Addison. It is the wealthiest part of Dallas, but has its adjacent, less resourced areas as well.
Far North Dallas is the section of the city of Dallas, Texas which extends north of the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway. Far North Dallas is part of North Dallas, however is viewed as a distinct area. The area has strong social and economic ties to two inner suburbs of Dallas, Richardson and Addison.
Whispering Hills is a neighborhood consisting of 615 homes within the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas, Texas adjacent to the suburbs of Richardson and Garland. It is generally bounded by Buckingham Rd along the Richardson border to the north, to the east by the Garland border near Plano Rd, to the south by Walnut St, and to the west by the KCS Railroad and Audelia Branch Greenbelt near Audelia Rd.
