Northwood Heights is a neighborhood in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas (USA). It is generally bounded by Forest Lane on the North, Landa Lane on the West, Skyline Drive on the South, and Shepherd Lane on the East. The neighborhood includes individual residences, apartments, and multiple function dwellings.

Forest Lane station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located on Forest Lane, just east of US 75 in North Dallas. It opened on July 1, 2002, replacing the North Central Transit Center, and is the third of four elevated stations on the Red Line, serving nearby residential and shopping areas in the neighborhoods of Lake Highlands and Hamilton Park.

It is generally bounded by Buckingham Rd along the Richardson border to the north, to the east by the Garland border near Plano Rd, to the south by Walnut St, and to the west by the KCS Railroad and Audelia Branch Greenbelt near Audelia Rd.
