Meghe Dhaka Tara is a 2013 Indian Bengali film directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee and made under Shree Venkatesh Films banners. The film is inspired from the life and works of Bengali film director Ritwik Ghatak. The entire film is in black and white except the last scene which has been shot in colour. In this film Saswata Chatterjee plays the character of Nilkantha Bagchi and Ananya Chatterjee plays the role of Durga, Nilkantha's wife. The film was released on 14 June 2013. Besides giving an account of Ghatak's life, the film also depicts the socio-political environment of contemporary West Bengal during the Tebhaga and Naxalite movements.
Aborto is a Bengali film released on 1 March 2013 and directed by Arindam Sil in his directorial debut. According to Sil, this film would be the greatest tribute to Satyajit Ray that has ever been made. The film stars Bangladesh actress Jaya Ahsan, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Abir Chatterjee in lead roles. The screenplay was written by filmmaker Atanu Ghosh, but was not acknowledged on the posters by the director.
Jaatishwar is a 2014 Indian Bengali musical drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji, starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta and Swastika Mukherjee. The main focus of the plot revolves around the life and notable works of Anthony Firingee, a 19th-century Bengali language folk poet of Portuguese origin, along with other supporting characters. The time frame of the storyline jumps between two different time periods—19th century and the present day (2013). The music of Jaatiswar is composed by Kabir Suman.
Badshahi Angti is a 2014 Indian Bengali-language thriller film directed by Sandip Ray, based on the novel of the same name by Satyajit Ray, starring Abir Chatterjee and Sourav Das as Feluda and Topse respectively. The film was released on 19 December 2014. It is the first film which stars Abir Chatterjee as Feluda. This was going to be a reboot to previous Feluda film series after Royal Bengal Rahashya. But in 2016 Sandip Ray cancelled the reboot series because Abir Chatterjee started a new version of film series based on Byomkesh Bakshi franchise under Shree Venkatesh Films and Surinder Films. The other reason was the new Feluda movie Sandip Ray intended to make under a Mumbai-based production house Eros International, but Abir has a strict contract with Shree Venkatesh Films and Surinder Films.
Rajkahini is an Indian Bengali-language historical drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji. The shooting of the film completed in June 2015 and the film released on 16 October 2015. The film has an ensemble cast of eleven major female characters led by Rituparna Sengupta and also stars Saswata Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, Jisshu Sengupta, Abir Chatterjee and Jaya Ahsan in other pivotal roles. It has been remade in Hindi by Mukherji as Begum Jaan. The film was a critical and commercial success.
Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival (HBFF) is a Bengali film festival in the city of Hyderabad and is being organized annually since 2014. The venue of the festival is the Prasad Film Preview Labs, Hyderabad. The first edition of the film festival was held in the year 2014. It is the only curated Bengali film festival in India.

Bijoya (transl. Victory) is a 2019 Bengali film directed by Kaushik Ganguly, produced by Opera Movies and presented by Suparnokanti Karati. It serves as the sequel to Bishorjan (2017) and stars Abir Chatterjee, and Bangladesh actress Jaya Ahsan reprising their roles from the previous film. The movie continues the ending of Bishorjon and explores the story six years later Nasir Ali first met Padma. The film was released on 4 January 2019.

The 4th Filmfare Awards Bangla ceremony, presented by The Times Group, will honor the best Bengali language Indian films of 2019. The ceremony was held on 31 March 2021 in Kolkata.
The West Bengal Film Journalists' Association Award for Best Actor in a supporting Role is given yearly by WBFJA as a part of its annual West Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards for Bengali films, to recognize the best actor of the previous year.
Ardhangini is a 2023 Indian Bengali relationship drama film written and directed by Kaushik Ganguly. The film is produced by Nispal Singh under the banner of Surinder Films. The film stars Churni Ganguly, Jaya Ahsan and Kaushik Sen in lead roles. It was a box office success. It was featured at the 54th IFFI Indian panorama section.
