Boxville Township is a township in Marshall County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 31 at the 2000 census.
Boxville Township was organized in 1884, and named for William N. Box, an early settler. [3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 8.4 square miles (22 km2), all land.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 31 people, 17 households, and 12 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.7 inhabitants per square mile (1.4/km2). There were 19 housing units at an average density of 2.3 per square mile (0.89/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
There were 17 households, out of which none had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.7% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% were non-families. 29.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
