According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.3 square miles (94 km2), of which 33.8 square miles (88 km2) is land and 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) (6.92%) is water.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 19 people, 7 households, and 4 families residing in the township. The population density was 0.6 people per square mile (0.2/km2). There were 16 housing units at an average density of 0.5/sq mi (0.2/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 94.74% White, and 5.26% from two or more races.
