Rollis Township is a township in Marshall County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 141 at the 2000 census.
Rollis Township was organized in 1899, and named for Otis Rollis, a pioneer merchant. [3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.0 square miles (93.2 km2), all land.
As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 141 people, 62 households, and 40 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.9 people per square mile (1.5/km2). There were 75 housing units at an average density of 2.1/sq mi (0.8/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 97.87% White, and 2.13% from two or more races.
There were 62 households, out of which 19.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.5% were married couples living together, and 33.9% were non-families. 30.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.27 and the average family size was 2.88.
In the township the population was spread out, with 19.1% under the age of 18, 1.4% from 18 to 24, 27.0% from 25 to 44, 34.8% from 45 to 64, and 17.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
