Breizh Reconnaissance Orbiter (BRO) is a low Earth orbit satellite constellation developed by the French company Unseenlabs, [1] headquartered in Rennes, Brittany, [2] [3] [4] with the support of the French Ministry of Research and Innovation. [5] BRO is focused on radio frequency spectrum monitoring and signal intelligence for maritime and aerial traffic surveillance. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] The 6U and 8U CubeSat-type small satellites [11] are built by the Danish company GomSpace. [12] [13] The first BRO satellite, BRO-1, [14] was launched in August 2019 on a Rocket Lab Electron rocket. [15] [11] [16] [17] [18]
