The Cadillac Optiq is a battery electric compact luxury crossover SUV to be sold under the Cadillac subdivision of American automobile manufacturer General Motors and produced by SAIC-GM, a joint venture between the Chinese manufacturer Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) and General Motors. It has been sold in China since late 2023 and is likely going to be sold in North America starting in 2024. [2]
The Cadillac Optiq is slated to go on sale during the second half of 2023, and will later be sold in North America in 2024. [3] It will be available in two trims that have an output of 150 kW and 180 kW respectively. [2] The car is intended to be a lower priced entry-level EV for the brand. [4]
