Caleb Shrader (born March 26, 2004) is an American professional auto racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 6 Ford for Jerry Pitts Racing. He has also competes in the Trans-Am Series, driving the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro for DIG Motorsports. [1]

Racing career

In 2023, Shrader made his debut in the ARCA Menards Series West at Portland International Raceway, driving the No. 99 Chevrolet for Bill McAnally Racing, where after placing thirteenth in the lone practice session, [2] he qualified in ninth and finished on the lead lap in seventh place. [3] [4]

In 2024, Shrader returned to the West Series at Portland, this time driving the No. 6 Ford for Jerry Pitts Racing, [5] [6] where after placing third in the lone practice session, [7] he qualified in tenth but finished in 21st. [8] [9]

The 2024 Portland 112 was the 3rd stock car race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series West season, and the 4th running of the event. The race was on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Portland International Raceway in Portland, Oregon, a 1.967 mile (3.166 km) permanent asphalt road course. The race took the scheduled 57 laps to complete. William Sawalich, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, would successfully take the lead from Brandon Jones in the middle stages of the race, and led the final 31 laps to earn his third career ARCA Menards Series West win, and his second of the season. This was also his first road course win in his ARCA career. Jones won the pole and led the first 26 laps, before being passed by Sawalich and finishing 2nd. To fill out the podium, Isabella Robusto, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would finish 3rd, respectively.

Jerry Pitts Racing (JPR), also called JP Racing, is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the ARCA Menards Series and the ARCA Menards Series West. In the ARCA Menards Series, they field the No. 7 Toyota Camry part-time for Takuma Koga. In the ARCA Menards Series West, they field the No. 5 Toyota part-time for Kole Raz and Sean Hingorani, the No. 6 Ford Fusion part-time for Caleb Shrader, and the No. 7 Toyota full-time for Takuma Koga. The team is owned by former Gene Price Motorsports crew chief, Jerry Pitts, along with his brother Brian.
