Dorky Park is a dance company from Berlin, created and directed by choreographer Constanza Macras. Initially, between 1997 and 2003, the dance troupe was called Tamagotchi Y2K.

Constanza Macras was born in Buenos Aires, where she studied dance and fashion design. After spending some time obtaining additional training at the Merce Cunningham Studio New York she moved to the city of Amsterdam, where she presented her work in various local venues. In 1995 Constanza Macras moved to Berlin and founded the group Tamagotchi Y2K which became Constanza Macras/DorkyPark in 2003

'Constanza Macras/Dorky Park' is a dance/theater company created in 2003 emerging from the cultural mecca of Berlin. Dorky Park's productions Back to the Present (2003) "Big In Bombay" (2005), "Sure...Shall We Talk About It?" (2005), "No Wonder" (2005), Scratch/Neuköln (2004) and "Mir 3: Endurance" (2003), I'm Not the Only One"Volksbühne Berlin, Brickland (2007 ) Schaubühne Berlin, Hell On Earth (2008, Hebbel am Ufer). The company continue to tour internationally to acclaimed theaters and festivals. Categorizing Constanza Macras' work can be difficult because of the unique mix of dance, music, video, and physical humor.

Eiko Otake and Takashi Koma Otake, generally known as Eiko & Koma, are a Japanese performance duo. Since 1972, Eiko & Koma have worked as co-artistic directors, choreographers, and performers, creating a unique theater of movement out of stillness, shape, light, sound, and time. For most of their multi-disciplinary works, Eiko & Koma also create their own sets and costumes, and they are usually the sole performers in their work. Camille A. Brown

Camille A. Brown is a dancer, choreographer, director and dance educator. She is the Founder & Artistic Director of Camille A. Brown & Dancers, and has congruently choreographed commissioned pieces for dance companies, Broadway shows, and universities. Brown started her career as a dancer in Ronald K. Tanz im August is a festival for contemporary dance in Berlin. It was founded by Nele Hertling in West Berlin in 1988, and is now presented by the Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) theatre company. Tanz im August brings famous companies, new choreography, aesthetics and formats from all over the world to Berlin every year in August as part of a festival lasting several weeks. The focus is also on the realisation of new projects by Berlin artists, collaboration with international guests and the co-production of world premieres and German premieres. The festival uses the three stages of the HAU Hebbel am Ufer and changing other stages throughout Berlin, including the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, the Sophiensäle, the Radialsystem, the Volksbühne, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the "Kindl Centre for Contemporary Art" and the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz.
