Edmond L. Soliday (born April 3,1945) is a Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives,representing the 4th District.
Soliday graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1963 and Indiana University Bloomington. [2]
He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 where he became a warrant officer and flew helicopters in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. [2] He became a captain at American Airlines where he worked for 35 years as a pilot and an executive.

James Prather Jontz was an American politician who represented the Indiana's 5th congressional district,comprising rural north central Indiana,centering on Kokomo and Logansport. A Democrat,he served in the United States House of Representatives from 1987 to 1993. He was previously a member of the Indiana General Assembly. As of 2023,he was the last Democrat to represent his district in Congress.
The Valparaiso University Law School was the law school of Valparaiso University,a private university in Valparaiso,Indiana. Founded in 1879,the school was accredited by the American Bar Association in 1929 and admitted to the Association of American Law Schools in 1930. In October 2016,the ABA censured the school for admitting applicants who did not appear capable of satisfactorily completing the school's program of legal education and being admitted to the bar. One year later,the school suspended admissions and shut down after the last class graduated in 2020.
