The South West Africa People's Organisation,officially known as the SWAPO Party of Namibia,is a political party and former independence movement in Namibia. Uahekua Herunga is a Namibian politician. A member of SWAPO serving as a depty secretary general of the party. Herunga was a regional coordinator for his party in the northwestern Kunene Region prior to his appointment to the 5th National Assembly of Namibia in 2009 as a choice of president Hifikepunye Pohamba. He was subsequently appointed deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism and promoted to Minister in a cabinet reshuffle in December 2012,following the fifth SWAPO congress.
Job Shipululo Amupanda is a Namibian activist,associate professor,and politician who served as Mayor of the City of Windhoek,in office from 2 December 2020 to 1 December 2021. He was an Associate Professor at the University of Namibia before he co-founded the Affirmative Repositioning movement,a movement set up by radical youth activists of the SWAPO Party Youth League in November 2014.
Affirmative Repositioning (AR) is a leftist political movement in Namibia mainly focused on land reform,youth empowerment and social reform. Founded in 2014 by Job Amupanda,Dimbulukeni Nauyoma and George Kambala,the AR uses social media platforms to mobilise residents to apply for erven from municipalities. Due to thousands of youth submitting their forms on the same day,these activities have the character of mass demonstrations. The movement had,in a first round in November 2014,achieved a wave of individual land applications in Windhoek,Namibia's capital,which had since spread to other Namibian towns. The Affirmative Repositioning movement had threatened to take the land by force had the applications not have been processed and approved by July 2015 in the local municipalities. In 2024 the movement was officially registered as a political party.
Sirkka Namutenya Anneli Mwahafa Ausiku is a Namibian administrator and politician. She is the governor of Kavango West Region since 2014.

Veikko Nekundi is a Namibian politician serving in the Cabinet of Namibia as deputy minister of works and transport. He is also a legislator in the National Assembly since 2015.
Rev. Heikki Hausiku Ausiku (1944) is a Namibian politician who served as the Ambassador to Cuba (1991–1999). He is a member of South West Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO) party and was a member of the National Assembly of Namibia from 1989 to 1990. He was the former mayor of Nkurenkuru. He also served as a traditional councilor at Kwangali Traditional Authority in 2010. He was appointed as the special advisor to Sirkka Ausiku in 2014.
Ephraim Tuhadeleni Nekongo is a Namibian politician and businessperson who served as Member of Parliament and SWAPO Party Youth League Secretary.
