Ewbanks is an unincorporated community in Ellington Township, Adams County, Illinois, United States. Ewbanks is located along a railroad line northeast of Quincy.

It was previously known as "Eubanks". [1] A post office called Eubanks was established in 1872, and remained in operation until 1895. [2]

Randy Frese is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives who represents the 94th district. The 94th district, located in Western Illinois along the Mississippi River, includes all or parts of Adams, Henderson, Hancock and Warren counties. He succeeded Jil Tracy, who chose not to run for re-election to be Kirk Dillard's running mate in the 2014 gubernatorial election. Prior to being elected to the Illinois House of Representatives, he served as the Adams County Circuit Clerk from 2004 until 2012 when he opted to run against John M. Cliola, Illinois Unincorporated community in Illinois, United States

Cliola is an unincorporated historical community in Ellington Township, Adams County, Illinois, United States. Cliola was located along a railroad line northeast of Quincy. In a September 14, 1899 article in The Quincy Whig about the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad laying a new railroad switch between Eubanks and Cliola it was mentioned that after completion Cliola would no longer exist. There was previously a post office located in Cliola that was established on August 1, 1868.
