The Hong Kong national football team represents Hong Kong in international football and is controlled by the Football Association of Hong Kong, China, the governing body for football in Hong Kong.
Simon Daniel Edward Amor is an English rugby union coach and former player. Amor played in the scrum-half and fly-half positions for London Scottish and captained the England national rugby sevens team. He has been the head coach of London Scottish, England sevens, Hong Kong, and, as recently as 2020, was appointed defence-coach for the England rugby union team.

Law Pak was a Hong Kong-born football coach and Republic of China (Taiwan) international footballer. However, he spent his entire playing career in the British Hong Kong. As a coach, he coached teams from Hong Kong and Taiwan; he also resided in Taiwan temporarily but in recent years followed his daughter to migrate to the United States.
Hong Kong competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18 August to 2 September 2018. Hong Kong made its debut at the Asian Games in 1954 Manila, and the best achievement for the territory was in 2010 Asian Games held in neighboring Guangzhou, finishing with 8 gold, 15 silver and 17 bronze medals totaling 40 medals. At the previous edition in held 4 years later in Incheon, the total number of medals increased to 42, but the number of gold medals fell to 6. In Indonesia the performance of local athletes was satisfactory, improving the results obtained in 2010 and 2014 with 46 medals achieving the best results at the games.
Chan Fai Hung was a football player and coach who represented the Republic of China (Taiwan) internationally. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1960 Summer Olympics.
Royce Chan Leong-sze is a former Hong Kong rugby union player. She has represented Hong Kong internationally in rugby fifteens and sevens. She competed at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland.
