Fullerton Joint Union High School District (FJUHSD), founded in 1893 is a school district in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California. The district serves a fifty-square-mile area which includes within Orange County the cities of Fullerton, La Habra, and small sections of Anaheim, Buena Park, Brea, and La Palma.
Within Los Angeles County it serves sections of Whittier, La Habra Heights, and the unincorporated community of East Whittier. [2]

La Vista High School ( 33°52′45″N117°53′25″W / 33.87918978388862°N 117.8901390295911°W ) is a continuation high school in Fullerton at 909 N State College Blvd. As such, it is a high school for 16–18-year-old students in the district who, in most cases, have not made satisfactory progress toward graduation at one of the six comprehensive high schools in the district. Students are usually referred to La Vista High School by one of the traditional high schools because they are short on credits in required courses to graduate. The continuation school shares the same campus as Troy High School.
La Habra Heights is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 5,325 at the 2010 census, down from 5,712 at the 2000 census. La Habra Heights is a suburban canyon community located on the border of Orange and Los Angeles counties. The zoning is 1-acre (4,000 m2) lots with a variety of home and ranch style properties. La Habra Heights features open space and there are no sidewalks in the community. La Habra Heights has no commercial activity with few exception. Hacienda Park is the main park in the city and runs along Hacienda Road.

The Imperial Highway is a west-east thoroughfare in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial in the U.S. state of California. Lowell High School was a public high school in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District from September 1961 until June 1980, when it was closed because of declining student enrollment. It was a four-year institution, with students coming primarily from Rancho-Cañada and Starbuck Junior High schools in the Lowell Joint School District. The school athletic name was the Patriots, and its mascots were known as Johnny Patriot and Janie Patriot.

Whittier Union High School District is a California high school district in Los Angeles County, California, headquartered in Whittier. The union high school district was formed in 1900 and is currently composed of five comprehensive high schools, two alternative high schools, and an adult education center. Combined, these schools serve over 13,000 students. The school district is overseen by its current Superintendent, Dr. Monica Oviedo. The Board of Trustees is composed of five members, elected by trustee areas. The elections are currently held on a Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even-numbered years.
Sonora High School (SOHS) is a public high school located at 401 S. Palm Street in La Habra, north Orange County, California. One of seven high schools in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, Sonora served over 1,944 students in the 2012-2013 school year. The school has an International Baccalaureate program, honors, and Advanced Placement (AP) options available for certain classes and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The Alma Mater of the school, "Sons of old Sonora High, raise your voices to the sky! Raider now forever true, Sonora, praise to you! La Habra High School is a public co-educational high school located in the Orange County, California city of La Habra. Located between the Coyote Hills to the south and Puente Hills to the north, LHHS opened in 1954 and graduated its first class in 1956. It is a California Distinguished High School and has been nominated as a National Blue Ribbon School. The school is a member of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. LHHS absorbed a majority of the students from nearby Lowell High School when it closed in June 1980.

Rosecrans Avenue is a major west-east thoroughfare in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, California, USA. It has a total length of 27.5 miles (44.3 km). The street is named after U.S. Union General William S. Rosecrans, who purchased 13,000 acres (5,300 ha) of Rancho Sausal Redondo southwest of Los Angeles in 1869. Rosecrans Avenue was originally named Drexel Avenue, and ran through the Rosecrans Rancho which is part of modern-day Gardena.
La Habra–Fullerton–Yorba Linda Line was a Pacific Electric interurban line which traveled between Los Angeles and Yorba Linda. Passenger services ran between 1911 and 1938. Initial plans were for the route to continue further east to form a second main line between Los Angeles and San Bernardino, though these would go unfulfilled. After passenger service ended, much of the route was retained for freight service, eventually becoming the Union Pacific La Habra Subdivision.
