The city of Hood River is the seat of Hood River County, Oregon, United States. It is a port on the Columbia River, and is named for the nearby Hood River. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 7,167.

The Puerto Rico Soccer League or PRSL is an association football league in Puerto Rico founded in 2008. It was the first unified football league in the island's history. Association football had been growing in popularity in recent years, and this was an attempt to further develop the game on the island. The previous highest league in the country was the Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico. It shares Division I status with Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico.
Sevilla FC Puerto Rico was a Puerto Rican professional association football team based in Juncos, Puerto Rico. Founded in 2006, the team used to play in the Puerto Rico Soccer League. The club was founded in 2006 as a farm team for the Puerto Rico Islanders of the North American Soccer League in Bayamón, but in 2008 partnered with the Spanish La Liga club Sevilla FC and moved a year later to Juncos. Sevilla won both the regular season and play-offs in the inaugural season of the Puerto Rico Soccer League in 2008, and also won the regular season in 2011 before losing the play-off final on penalties to Leones.

The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation as a Division II Professional League since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer in the hierarchy. The USL is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
PEI FC is a senior men's amateur soccer club from Charlottetown, PEI. The team is composed mainly of current and former UPEI Men's Soccer players. They were the 2008–2013 provincial representative for Prince Edward Island at the BMO Canadian National Soccer Championships and were the 2010 Challenge Cup champions.
Victoria Highlanders Women is a Canadian women's soccer team based in Victoria, British Columbia. The team was founded in 2001 and in 2010 the team was re-branded from the existing PCSL premier women's team, the Victoria Stars FC, and adopted by the Victoria Highlanders FC. The Victoria Stars were operated by the Victoria Women's Soccer Society, had red and white team colors, and competed in the PCSL premier women division from 2001 to 2009. The Highlanders Women competed in the PCSL premier women division in 2010. The women Highlanders joined the USL W-League in 2011, the second tier of women’s soccer in the United States and Canada. The team played in the Western Conference against the Colorado Force, Colorado Rush, LA Strikers, Pali Blues, Santa Clarita Blue Heat, Seattle Sounders Women and Vancouver Whitecaps. In 2013 due to the travel costs and Vancouver Whitecaps women dropping out of the league, the Highlanders Women returned to the PCSL.
Fort Worth Vaqueros FC is an American amateur soccer club based in Fort Worth, Texas, which began play in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in May 2014. The Vaqueros play in the Lone Star Conference of the South Region. The club is based at Farrington Field, a facility owned by the Fort Worth Independent School District. The team's name was announced at the Fort Worth Livestock Exchange Building on February 13, 2014, after a name the team contest. The team's official logo was selected by the fans then revealed by the team on March 20, 2014. The team played its inaugural 2014 season at historic LaGrave Field but had to relocate in 2015 after the Fort Worth Cats, from whom the Vaqueros had been subletting the field, lost their lease. The team played at Texas Wesleyan University's Martin Field for the next 3 seasons (2015–2017). Beginning in 2018, the Vaqueros will play at FWISD Farrington Field.
Dallas City FC (DCFC) is an American soccer club based in McKinney, Texas. DCFC competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) as a member of the Heartland Conference of the South Region. The club changed their name before beginning play in the NPSL. Early in 2017, it was announced that the club would no longer compete in the NPSL. However, when the 2017 season began, the NPSL listed DCFC in the standings in the place of Liverpool Warriors. The primary rival of DCFC in the NPSL is Fort Worth Vaqueros FC. The two clubs annually compete in a cup competition, the Trinity River Cup, which is a two-leg total goal series.
FC Cincinnati was a soccer club based in Cincinnati, Ohio that began play in 2016 in the competition then known as the United Soccer League and now as the USL Championship. The team was announced on August 12, 2015. The club's ownership group was led by Carl H. Lindner III. Alan Koch was the coach.
The Rochester Lancers are an American soccer team based in Rochester, New York. The Original Lancers were founded in 1967, were brought back in 2011 as an indoor team and then joined the NPSL in 2016. The team plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Midwest Region. The team play its home games at the Aquinas Institute's Wegmans Stadium.

The league had several incarnations from 1908 to 1973 before it merged with the Mainland Senior Soccer League and the Intercity Junior League after the 1972-73 season to form the British Columbia Senior Soccer League. While the league predominantly featured teams from Vancouver's mainland and Vancouver Island, it also featured a team from Seattle, United States for two years.
