Hendley is a village in Furnas County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 24 at the 2010 census.
Hendley was named by the railroad in 1887 when they built a new line to a small settlement called Lyndon that had existed since the 1870s. [4]
A post office was established in Hendley in 1888 and, while no longer in a standalone building, remains in operation within the small convenience store located on the southeast corner of Grant Avenue and 3rd Street. [5]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.21 square miles (0.54 km2), all land. [6]

The average household size was 1.71 and the average family size was 2.50.
The median age in the village was 56 years. 8.3% of residents were under the age of 18; 0.1% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 12.6% were from 25 to 44; 54.2% were from 45 to 64; and 25% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 66.7% male and 33.3% female.
