The Eastern District located on northeastern part of Hong Kong Island,being one of the 18 administrative districts of Hong Kong. It had a population of 529,603 in 2021 The district has the second highest population while its residents have the third highest median household income among the 18 districts.
Tuen Mun District is one of the 18 administrative districts of Hong Kong. As of 2021,it had a population of 506,879. Of these,64,000 are under the age of 18. Part of the district is the Tuen Mun New Town,which contains one of the largest residential areas in the New Territories.
The Individual Visit Scheme begun on 28 July 2003 allowing travelers from Mainland China to visit Hong Kong and Macau on an individual basis;prior to the Scheme,Mainland residents could only visit on business visas or on group tours.

The Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) is instituted by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong to enhance the quality of private schools at the primary and secondary levels. The Hong Kong government has been encouraging non-government secondary schools which have attained a sufficiently high educational standard to join the DSS by providing subsidies to enhance the quality of private school education since the 1991–92 school year. In the 2000–01 school year,the DSS was extended to primary schools. In the 2001–02 school year,the terms of the DSS were significantly improved to attract more schools to join the scheme. Under the scheme,schools are free to decide on their curriculum,fees,and entrance requirements.
The West Kowloon Cultural District is a large arts development in Hong Kong. Designed and planned by Foster and Partners,the district comprises 40 hectares with 17 venues. Major establishments include Xiqu Centre for Chinese opera,the Freespace Centre for contemporary performance,the M+ Museum,and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. As of 2023,the Lyric Theatre and other commercial structures are under construction. It is managed by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA).
The Hospital Authority is a statutory body managing all the government hospitals and institutes in Hong Kong. It is under the governance of its board and is under the monitor of the Secretary for Health of the Hong Kong Government. Its chairman is Henry Fan.

Tat Ming Pair is an experimental Cantopop duo formed in Hong Kong in 1985 by composer Tats Lau (劉以達) and vocalist Anthony Wong Yiu-ming (黃耀明). Their blend of Cantopop,synthpop,new wave and electronic dance music with lyrics that reflected contemporary social,political,and literary themes,made them one of the first alternative and most influential bands of the 1980s Hong Kong music scene. The band enjoyed critical and commercial success until a hiatus in 1990. After their breakup,Wong proceeded as a solo artist while Lau went into acting although the duo have reunited several times over the years.
Lau Wong-fat,GBM,GBS,OBE,JP was a Hong Kong businessman and politician. He had been the long-time chairman of the Rural Council,the most powerful organ representing the interests of the New Territories indigenous inhabitants from 1980 to 2015. He was also a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1985 to 2016. From 2009 to 2012 he was a non-official member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong. He had also served as the member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Regional Council and the Tuen Mun District Council.
The Government of the Macau Special Administrative Region,commonly known as the Macau Government,is the executive authorities of Macau. Formed on 20 December 1999 in accordance with the Sino-Portuguese Joint Declaration,it is headed by secretariats or commissioners and report directly to the chief executive. The affairs of the government are decided by secretaries,who are appointed by the chief executive and endorsed by the State Council of the Central People's Government in Beijing. As a special administrative region of China,Macau has a high degree of autonomy,in light of the "One Country,Two Systems" policy. The Macau Government,financially independent from the Central People's Government,oversees the affairs of Macau.
Lai Tak Tsuen is a public housing estate at 2 –38 Lai Tak Tsuen Road,Tai Hang,Causeway Bay,Hong Kong. Built in 1975,it is one of the first public housing developments in Hong Kong. It was the second self-funded rental project of the Hong Kong Housing Society. The housing estate was named after a Hong Kong government officer,Michael Wright,who had served the Government of Hong Kong for more than 30 years.

Lau Wai Ming is an accomplished Cantonese opera artist from Hong Kong specializing in scholar-warrior roles (文武生). She graduated from Belilios Public School and completed her opera training at Yun Mun Cantonese Opera Academy 「韻文粵劇學苑」and the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong Cantonese Opera Academy 「八和粵劇學院」. She is a veteran educator and arts advisor on Cantonese opera for children and youth,and she sits in several key Cantonese opera associations and committees,
Outbound Travel Alert System is a travel advice system for residents of Hong Kong who are travelling overseas. Based on risk assessments by the Security Bureau of the Hong Kong Government,it advises travellers from Hong Kong of the potential risk to personal safety in other countries or regions in the current environment.
Hong Kong Cyclothon,sponsored by Sun Hung Kai Properties,was held from 10 to 11 October 2015. It was the first time that the Hong Kong Tourism Board organised a mega event related to bicycles. Different competitions within the cyclothon were held to allow participants of different age groups to join. Also,a carnival associated with bicycles was set up. The cyclothon attracted over 3,600 participants,including 100 cyclists coming from 17 countries. The Hong Kong Tourism Board hopes to organise the Hong Kong Cyclothon again.
Culture,Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB) is one of the fifteen policy bureaux of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The bureau is responsible for the policy portfolios of culture,sports and tourism. The agency was established on 1 July 2022. The current Secretary for Culture,Sports and Tourism is Kevin Yeung.
Cheung Chau fishball is a fishball street snack found at a stall in Cheung Chau,Hong Kong. Known for its large size and soft chewy texture,the food is often presented on wooden skewers in pieces of two. As with other fishballs served in Hong Kong,they may be seasoned with a variety of sauces,including curry sauce and mala sauce. The fishballs are usually made out of fish paste,a cheap ingredient extracted from grey mullets.
