Imusicapella is an internationally-acclaimed church choir based at the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Imus City, Province of Cavite, Philippines. The choir regularly sings at the Imus Cathedral and St. Peregrine Chapel.
Formed in 2002, Imusicapella has already embarked in eleven (11) international concert tours in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, France, Spain, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and the US states of California, Nevada, Illinois, Iowa, Virginia, Washington DC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
They were the recipient of the “General Licerio Topacio Special Award” [1] during the 2006 Parangal ng Bayan ng Imus for being an outstanding group of the city. They were a 6-time recipient of the Ani ng Dangal Award (Harvest of Honors) in 2012, [2] 2013, [3] 2016, [4] 2018, [5] 2019 [6] and 2020 [7] by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
Imusicapella has recorded eight CDs: You are the Light (2003), Joy to the World (2003), One More Gift (2005), Cantate Domino (2011), "I'll Make Music" (2015), Imagine (2018), and Go the Distance (2019), Under the Heavens (2024)
Tristan Caliston Ignacio is the founder and conductor of Imusicapella. Under his leadership, the group emerged as the most awarded church choir in Asia. He is the winner of:
- Andrea Georgi]Prize, the best conductor prize in Gorizia, Italy (2018)
- Giuseppe Radole Prize, a conductor’s prize for the best interpretation of a sacred polyphonic piece in Gorizia, Italy (2018)
- Special Prize for an Excellent Conducting Performance in Debrecen, Hungary (2018)
- Günther-Mittergradnegger Prize, the best conductor prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary choral work in Spittal, Austria (2015) [8]
- Best Conductor Prize for his Outstanding Artistic Achievement in Lindenholzhausen, Germany (2011)
- Pro Musica Viva Maria Strecker-Daelen Prize, the best conductor prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary choral work in Marktoberdorf, Germany (2007)
Graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Tourism at the University of Santo Tomas, he was a member of the UST Singers. He was a recipient of the Gawad Heneral Emilio Aguinaldo, the highest honors given by the Province of Cavite for his outstanding achievements in the field of music as well as the Col. Jose S. Tagle Award, a young achiever’s award given to Imuseños who achieved something extra-ordinary. He was also given the 2012 [9] and 2019 [10] Ani ng Dangal Awards by the NCCA.
Presently, he is also the conductor of The Sisters of Mary School Boystown Choir, the Department of Energy Chorale and the Government Service Insurance System Chorale.
He has travelled around the country as a jury of several local and national choral competitions. Internationally, he travelled to Gorizia, Italy to sit as a jury both to the Seghizzi International Choral Competition and the Seghizzi International Chamber Singing Competition for Solo Voice with Piano. [11] He was also in Indonesia as one of the juries of the Dumai National Choral Competition in 2018 and 2019. [12]
Doubling as the group’s tour manager since 2012, he has arranged and organized eight highly successful international travels of the choir in Europe and Asia.

The University of Louisville Cardinal Singers is a choir consisting of between 29 and 40 members, and is the most selective choral ensemble at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
Grex Vocalis is a Norwegian chamber choir, formed in 1971 by Carl Høgset. The repertoire spans from the renaissance to music by contemporary composers. The choir has been awarded the Norwegian Spellemannprisen prize for three of its thirteen albums and has won first prizes in national and international contests. In 1999 Grex Vocalis was awarded Il Gran Premio Città di Arezzo as the overall best choir in that year's contest. Grex Vocalis is primarily an a cappella choir, comprising ca. 35 singers, but performs on occasion also with soloists and orchestras. They have toured extensively in Europe, and also given a series of concerts in Japan and Cuba.

The KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir was founded in 1968 by Hein de Villiers. The choir is based in Durban, South Africa, and attracts talent from across the KwaZulu-Natal province.
Gérard’d du Toit is an International figure in the Choral world who has drawn attention when he conducted the Drakensberg Boys’ choir in Europe in 1988, Namibia and South Africa from 1985 to 1989. His involvement with the Drakensberg Boys Choir school led to his post-graduate studies at the University of Pretoria specialising in choral conducting and writing a thesis on the formal training of the boys voice when mutating. It his energetic and spirited leadership with the KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir and the University of UKZN Bel Canto Chamber Choir from 1996 that led to examining and adjudicating in Europe such as Estonia ; presenting a week-long choral course on South African Choral music in Ljubljana (Slovenia) under the auspices of the Ljubljana Madrigalisti (2005), acting as the SA partner of the Choir World Games in Xiamen, China (2006), and on the jury at the prestigious Cecilia Seghizzi International Choir Competition.
The Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club (ACGC), simply known as the Ateneo Glee Club, is a choir based in the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. It is distinguished as the oldest university chorale in the Philippines, celebrating its 98th season in 2018. It has held concerts internationally, and has released several albums with songs genres ranging from Classical, Negro spiritual, Sacred choral works, as well as Pop, and OPM. The Glee Club remains active internationally through the performances it stages and choral festivals it participates in.
Vytautas Miškinis is a Lithuanian composer, choral conductor and academic teacher. He is artistic director of Ąžuoliukas, a boys' and youth choir and music school, and of other ensembles, performing internationally. He has taught choral conducting at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre from 1985. His groups have won prizes at international competitions, where he also served as member of the jury. His compositions are part of international standard choral repertoire.
The University of Utah Singers was the premier choral ensemble at the University of Utah until 2010. The ensemble was organized in 2003 by Dr. Brady R. Allred. Composed of approximately 45 voices, the ensemble performed repertoire from a wide range of musical styles and eras. In their short history, UU Singers achieved both national and international acclaim, winning the Grand Prize at the 2005 Florilège Vocal de Tours -International Choir Competition in Tours, France; winning the European Grand PrixArchived 2007-12-18 at the Wayback Machine Choral Competition in Tolosa, Spain;in 2006, winning first prize at the 11th International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf in 2009, participating in the 19th Festival “Choralies de Vaison-la-Romaine” in France and the 37th Abu Gosh international vocal music festival near Jerusalem. UU Singers performed in concerts throughout England, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany and Israel on five international concert tours, and have appeared on French national television at the Nancy International Choir Festival.
Estonian TV Girls' Choir is a choir established by Estonian Television. It grew out of the Children's Television Music Studio, which was founded in 1990. Today the choir comprises 30 singers aged from 14 to 20.

Ani ng Dangal or "Harvest of Honors" is an organizational award given by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, an agency under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines. It is an annual event in the Philippines celebrated as a highlight and concluding rite of the Philippine Arts Festival.
New Dublin Voices, an award-winning chamber choir based in Dublin, Ireland, was founded by conductor Bernie Sherlock in October 2005. New Dublin Voices, whose concerts range in style and period from the medieval to the contemporary, takes special pleasure in exploring the music of living composers and has given many Irish premières, as well as numerous world premières of works by Irish composers. The UP Manila Chorale is the multi-awarded official performing group for choral music of the University of the Philippines Manila. Established in July 1992 by a few BA Behavioral Sciences students, the group aims to embody and represent the University locally and internationally through the art of choral music, serving as ambassadors of cultural goodwill by being the “voice of UP Manila to the world”. Svanholm Singers is an internationally acclaimed Swedish male-voice chamber choir founded in 1998 and based in Lund. It comprises around 20 singers, most of whom between 20 and 30 years of age. The choir is led by conductor Sofia Söderberg, and is known for its precise intonation, tonal focus, and vivid dynamics. Svanholm Singers performs concerts and tours mainly in Europe and Asia.
