Madhya Pradesh is a state in central India. Its capital is Bhopal, and the largest city is Indore, with Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior, Satna being the other major cities. Madhya Pradesh is the second largest Indian state by area and the fifth largest state by population with over 72 million residents. It borders the states of Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Chhattisgarh to the southeast, Maharashtra to the south, Gujarat to the west, and Rajasthan to the northwest.

Old-time industries which flourished in Indore were handloom, hand dyeing, manufacture of niwar, oil extraction by ghani, manufacture of bamboo mats, baskets, metal utensils, embossing and engraving of gold and silver ornaments, shellac industry, etc. Ayurvedic and Unani medicines from roots and herbs were manufactured under state patronage. Indore has one of the largest trans-shipment centers for truck transport.

Initially the club was opened for royalty, nobility, aristocracy, and the officers of the Holkar State. Later, its doors were opened for business elites. After Indian independence, admission criteria were revised.

Regional Park Indore is a park located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The park was developed and created by Indore Development Authority and was opened in 2003. Park is located on 80 acres of land with 42 acres for lake and other 38 for other attractions. Park is named after former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. There is also a canal, which covers the whole park starting from one point of the pond and ending at the other part. The bridges over canal with the mist fountain make one feel a special type of peace, mentally as well as physically.

Born to Niranjanlal and Madan Kunwar at Indore, in the second largest Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, he graduated in engineering from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) Indore and started his commentating career in 1968 at the Nehru Stadium for a Ranji Trophy match between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Over the years, he is reported to have covered nine Cricket World Cups, 85 test matches and over 400 One Day Internationals, besides several Twenty20 Internationals. His contributions are reported in making cricket commentary in Hindi popular. He has also written two books in Hindi on sports, Khel Patrakarita published in 2003 and Cricket Ka Mahabharat, published in 2016.
