The Permanent Interdicasterial Commission for Consecrated Religious is part of the Roman Curia. It was established in 1989 to better handle religious in missionary lands, mostly in Africa and Asia. It became necessary when Pastor Bonus gave jurisdiction over internal community life of missionary religious from the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples to the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and for Societies of Apostolic Life which has greater knowledge of the religious communities. The work of missionary religious remains under Peoples.
The president of the Interdicasterial Commission is the prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, currently Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle. Other members include the prefect and secretary of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life and the secretary and under-secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.

The Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples was a congregation of the Roman Curia of the Catholic Church in Rome, responsible for missionary work and related activities. It is also known by its former title, the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith, or simply the Propaganda Fide. On 5 June 2022, it was merged with the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization into the Dicastery for Evangelization.

Other members include the Secretary and Under-Secretary for Relations with States. As well as the secretaries of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, Congregation for the Clergy, Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life and the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
João Braz de Aviz is a prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has served as the prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life since his appointment by Pope Benedict XVI in 2011. He began his career working for twenty years as a parish priest and seminary teacher. He became a bishop in 1994 and was bishop of Ponta Grossa from 1998 to 2002, archbishop of Maringá from 2002 to 2004, and archbishop of Brasília from 2004 to 2011.
Luis Antonio Gokim Tagle is a Filipino prelate of the Catholic Church currently serving as the Pro-Prefect for the Section of Evangelization of Dicastery for Evangelization since June 5, 2022, and as the President of Interdicasterial Commission for Consecrated Religious since December 8, 2019. He was the 32nd Archbishop of Manila from 2011 to 2020. Tagle is the Cardinal-Bishop of San Felice da Cantalice a Centocelle and also serves as the President of the Catholic Biblical Federation, Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical Urbaniana University, and as a member of various departments and dicasteries in the Roman Curia.
