Israeli Footballer of the Year

The title Footballer of the Year of Israel has been bestowed annually since 1960 by the Israeli newspaper Maariv at the end of each season. In the years 1963, 1966 and 1991 two players have been honoured. Mordechai Spiegler, who is considered the foremost player in Israeli football history, has between 1964 and 1971, been given the accolade a record four times.

Maccabi Holon is an Israeli women's football club from Holon competing in the Israeli First League and the Israeli Women's Cup. Maccabi dominated Israeli women's football through much of the 2000s, winning six championships and seven cups between 2003 and 2010, including five doubles in a row. The season began on 25 August 2018 and concluded on 25 May 2019. Hapoel Be'er Sheva were the defending champions.
