The J. J. College of Engineering and Technology (JJCET) is an engineering and research institute in Trichy, Tamil Nadu affiliated to Anna University.
The college has 7 Under Graduate and 4 Post Graduate programs.
In-house Management Training Institute, Polytechnic, Teacher Training Institute and Institute of Higher Studies.
JJCET started in the January, 1995. The first batch students graduated in the December, 1998.
The convocation of the 2002–2006 students, the first students to do the Full Engineering Course under Anna University in the institute, was conducted at J.J. College Campus, Trichy on 1 April 2007. Around 500 engineers graduated in the 2006 academic year.

Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) is an engineering institute located in Chromepet, Chennai, India. It is one of the four autonomous constituent colleges of Anna University. It was established in 1949 by Chinnaswami Rajam as the first self-financing engineering institute in the country and later merged with Anna University. The institute was among the first educational institutions in India to offer new areas of specialization such as aeronautical engineering, automobile engineering, electronics engineering and instrumentation technology. MIT was the first self-financing institute opened in India.
B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, formerly B. S. Abdur Rahman University, is a private university located in Tamil Nadu, India. Previously, functioning under University of Madras (1984–2001) and Anna University (2001–09) as Crescent Engineering College, the institute gained deemed status in 2008–09. Government acquired this campus from Bharathidasan University and renamed it as Anna University Tiruchirappalli in 2007.The university is an accredited university with powers to grant affiliations to colleges and universities conducting graduate and post graduate studies, as well as diploma courses, and is so recognized by the UGC.
The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT) is an autonomous institute located at Sarang of Parjang block in Dhenkanal district in the Indian state of Odisha. It was established in 1982 by the government of Odisha. In addition to four year undergraduate degree courses, it offers three year Diploma courses in technical disciplines and a 3-year postgraduate degree in computer applications. It also offers five year BArch courses. It offers postgraduate degree courses in engineering. The college has 179 acres (0.72 km2) of land and it is situated near the country. Currently, Dr. Satyabrata Mohanta is the director of the institute.

National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is a public technical and research university near the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded as Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli in 1964 by the Governments of India and Tamil Nadu under the affiliation of the University of Madras.
