Meadow Brook Farm, also known as the John Roop Farm or Samuel Roop Farm, is a historic home and farm complex located at Westminster, Carroll County, Maryland. The complex consists of the Victorian farmhouse and several period outbuildings including an 1809 two-story brick washhouse, brick smokehouse, brick privy, and brick tenant house. The house is a two-story brick structure that was built in the Pennsylvania German style about 1805. It has the typical gable roof, symmetrical façade, and L-shaped plan In 1868, the exterior and interior were remodeled to contemporary rural Victorian standards. The house was built during a period of significant immigration of Pennsylvania Germans into Maryland.

The complex consists of the farmhouse and the following contributing structures: garage, smokehouse, pump house, clothes drying pole, privy, barn, two silos, and gate posts. David Davis Farm, also known as the Christian Summers Farm and John Martin Farm, is a historic farm and national historic district located at Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district includes seven contributing buildings and one contributing site. They include the farmhouse, a stone bank barn, spring house, two frame tobacco barns, a small frame shed, and family burial ground. The farmhouse is an evolutionary dwelling originally built as a two-story, stone building about 1750, and extensively remodeled in 1787. Stone and frame additions were made about 1815, about 1870, and about 1890. Attached to the house is a small frame summer kitchen with beehive oven, that was once a separate structure.

Byecroft Farm Complex, also known as "Old Congress," is a historic home and farm complex located in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The oldest section of the main house was built in 1702, with three later additions. It consists of a central block with three wings. The central block was built in 1732, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay coursed fieldstone structure. The northeast wing consists of the original one-story structure built in 1702, with a second story added in 1775. A wing to the southwest was added in 1775, and expanded to 2 1/2-stories about 1830. In 1934-1935, a 1+1⁄2-story, two-bay, addition was built onto the southwest wing. The house is reflective of the Georgian style. Also on the property are the contributing Old Bye Barn, carriage house / studio, two-story frame barn, small carriage house / cottage, and pumphouse and well house.

The house was designed by noted Philadelphia architect Addison Hutton (1834–1916) and built in 1877–1878. The original house was a two-story, five bay rectangular brick dwelling faced with blue limestone in a Late Gothic Revival style. It has a service wing and the pentagonal library wing was added in 1896.

The main section measures 50 feet wide and 18 feet deep and features a long one-story, late-19th century porch. Also on the property are a number of contributing outbuildings including a stone bank barn, loom house, spring house, wash house / kitchen, granary, sheds, and an outhouse. The meeting room in the east wing of the house served a large congregation of Mennonites for a number of years. John K. Berry was a descendant of Swiss settlers in Pennsylvania.
