The Julia A. Purnell Museum is located at 208 West Market Street, Snow Hill, Maryland, United States. The building that houses the museum was originally the St. Agnes Catholic Church built in 1891. [1] The museum exhibits 500 years of local history. [2]

Fenwick Island is a coastal resort town in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. According to 2020 census figures, the population of the town is 355, a 2.6% decrease over the last decade. It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland–Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town is located on Fenwick Island, a barrier spit.

The Costen House is a historic U.S. home located at 206 Market Street, Pocomoke City, Maryland, United States. Dr. Isaac Thomas Costen built the house c. 1870s and members of his family lived there for over a century. Dr. Costen became the first Mayor of Pocomoke City. St. Martin's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located on Route 113 at the intersection with Route 589 in Showell, Worcester County, Maryland. Much of the original Flemish bond brick structure is retained. Built as the first parish church of Worcester Parish, which had been established in 1753, it was started in 1756 and completed in 1759. Attendance dwindled after St. Paul's Episcopal Church was established in nearby Berlin in 1824, and by the end of the century the facility was used only sporadically.

The community used this one room school until 1931.
The Old Furnace Town Heritage Museum is an outdoor museum near Snow Hill, Maryland that uses a living history format with live demonstrations to re-create a vanished 19th-century community. The museum contains various historic buildings, including most importantly the Nassawango Iron Furnace, an early 19th-century brick blast furnace that was used to smelt bog iron ore to make pig iron. Other buildings, all of which have been moved to the site, include a church, a store, and several houses, one of which is used as an information center.

Virginia Beach is a resort city, and the Oceanfront is a primary tourist attraction. The boardwalk, substantially updated in 1988, is a concrete path linking forty hotels and other attractions via pedestrian walkway and separated bike path -- which in turn connects to nearby trails and surface streets.
