Julwania is located in the Narmada Valley on crossroads of AB Road, [1] part of AH47 & MP SH 26, at 21°52′N75°12′E / 21.86°N 75.20°E / 21.86; 75.20 . It has an average elevation of 252 m (827 ft). [2] Situated in the eastern area of Barwani district, [3] Julwania lies 15 km (9.3 mi) from Rajpur & 48 km (30 mi) from Barwani. [4]
