The Idaho Steelheads are an American professional minor league ice hockey team based in Boise, Idaho, and a member of the ECHL. The Steelheads play in the Mountain Division of the ECHL's Western Conference since the 2016–17 season.
The Trenton Titans were a professional minor league ice hockey team that played in the ECHL. The team last played in the Atlantic Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference. The Titans played their home games at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, New Jersey. Established in 1999, the team was owned by Delaware Valley Sports Group LLC, a local ownership group. They were most recently the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers and the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms.
The Duke Blue Devils are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Duke University, located in Durham, North Carolina. Karen Christina Shelton is an American former field hockey player and coach. Shelton served as head coach of the University of North Carolina's field hockey program from 1981 until her retirement in 2022. She was a member of the U.S. National Team from 1977 to 1984 and a starter on the team that won the bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. She attended West Chester State and was a member of four NCAA championship winning teams. Shelton also qualified for the 1980 Olympic team but did not compete due to the Olympic Committee's boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Russia. As consolation, she was one of 461 athletes to receive a Congressional Gold Medal many years later.
Tracey Claire Fuchs is a former field hockey midfielder from the United States, who was a member of the US women's team that finished fifth at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. She also competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where Team USA finished in eighth and last position. She also played for the 1994 World Cup team that won the bronze medal. She won a bronze medal at the 1995 Pan American Games. Fuchs won the NCAA Division I national title as the coach of the Northwestern Wildcats in 2021.

Kayla Marie Whitelock is a New Zealand field hockey player, and former captain of the New Zealand women's national field hockey team. She has competed in four Olympic Games, three Commonwealth Games and two Hockey World Cups. She was named on the FIH's All-Star Team in 2010 and was Hockey New Zealand's player of the year in 2012.

They achieved their greatest result in 2007, winning the 2007 Division I Men's College Cup. Like all sports teams from Wake Forest, men's soccer competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The Deacons play their home matches at Spry Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest.

The Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program represents Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats have competed in ECAC Hockey since the 2005-2006 season where they replaced Vermont when the Catamounts moved to Hockey East. Prior to that season the Bobcats competed in College Hockey America for the 2004-2005 season, played as a Division I Independent for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, and in the ECAC Division I Eastern division for the 2001-2002 season.
Tyla Flexman is a field hockey player from Canada who played midfield for the Canadian Women's National Field Hockey Team from 2004 to 2012. She started playing field hockey in grade 8 at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School (Vancouver) and played for the Junior Women's National Field Hockey Team from 2004 to 2005, competing in the Junior Pan Am Cup and Junior World Cup in 2005. In 2008, she played her 5th and final year with the University of British Columbia and was selected as the National Gail Wilson Award winner as well as Canada West Player of the Year while completing her degree in Human Kinetics. She was selected to the Senior Women's National Field Hockey Team in 2008 and played center midfield for the team (#18) until her retirement in 2012. During that time she played in the 2010 Commonwealth Games, 2011 Pan American Games, and in two FIH Champions Challenge II Tournaments. In 2012, she won the BC Female Field Hockey Player of the Year. Following her retirement she joined Fortius Sport & Health as a Coordinator for Partnerships and Programs.
Diane Madl is an American former field hockey player who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Lauren Crandall is an American field hockey player. At the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Summer Olympics, she competed for the United States women's national field hockey team in the women's event, serving as team captain in 2012 and 2016. She played for the national team from 2005 through 2016. Before joining the national team she played field hockey for Wake Forest University, winning the NCAA field hockey championship twice.
The 2008 Women's Four Nations Cup was the inaugural Hockey Four Nations Cup, an international women's field hockey tournament, consisting of a series of test matches. It was held in Germany, from July 4 to 6, 2018, and featured four of the top nations in women's field hockey.
The 2006 March on Madrid Hockey Tournament was a women's field hockey tournament, consisting of a series of test matches. It was held in Baltimore and Virginia Beach, from 17 to 27 August 2006.
