Stacey "Nuvey" Nuveman-Deniz is an American softball coach and former player who is the head coach of the San Diego State Aztecs softball team at San Diego State University (SDSU). She played for the UCLA Bruins at the catcher position on-and-off from 1997 to 2002, winning a national championship in 1999. She also won two Olympic gold medals and one silver medal for Team USA.

Richard Hastings Tomey was an American college football coach and player. Tomey served as the head football coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1977–1986), University of Arizona (1987–2000), and San Jose State University (2005–2009), compiling a career college football record of 183–145–7. His last full-time coaching position was as the special teams coach at Hawaii in 2011 under head coach Greg McMackin, who resigned after the season. Tomey was not retained by McMackin's successor, Norm Chow. Tomey served as a head coach of the victorious West team in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game on January 11, 2013, at Kino Stadium in Arizona.
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in NCAA Division I FBS college football. Tayyiba Mumtaz Haneef-Park is an American indoor volleyball head coach and former player who is the head coach of the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF). She played at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, where the team finished in 5th place. Haneef-Park also competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she won a silver medal with team USA. After her pregnancy in 2010, she returned to Team USA to repeat their silver medal performance at the 2012 London Olympics. Both times USA lost to Brazil.

Danielle Denise O'Toole-Trejo is a former professional softball pitcher and current assistant coach for Stanford. She played college softball for San Diego State and Arizona. She played in the inaugural season of the Athletes Unlimited Softball league.

Sarah Marie Sponcil is an American volleyball player for the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation, best known for her beach volleyball career. She competed for the USA Volleyball Beach National Team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Sarah and partner Kelly Claes tied for 9th in their debut Olympics. At 24 and 25, Sponcil and Claes, respectively, were the youngest beach volleyball team to represent the USA since its inception as an Olympic sport in 1996.

Shaun Cole is an American college baseball coach and former pitcher who is the head coach of the San Diego State Aztecs baseball team at San Diego State University (SDSU). He played college baseball at Pierce College and William Penn before beginning his coaching career as an assistant at Edmonds Community College.
