The racial makeup of the city was 83.43% White, 13.81% African American, 0.55% Asian, and 2.21% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.21% of the population.
There were 71 households, out of which 32.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were married couples living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 31.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
