Line 6 of Suzhou Rail Transit is a line partly in operation. Running north-west to south-east, it will connect Suzhou New District, Suzhou's city center of Gusu District and Suzhou Industrial Park. The line 6, except Huayun station, started operation in 29 June 2024. [2]
Due to construction of Suzhou East railway station of the Tongsujiayong railway, Huayun station is not yet opened for service, where also causes the scissors crossover of Sangtiandao unusuable. Trains could not turn around there. As such, line 6 is currently operating as two sections, with transfer at Nanxiebu station: [3]

Suzhou Rail Transit, also known as Suzhou Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu Province, China. Line 1 began operation on April 28, 2012. Line 2 opened on December 28, 2013. A further three lines, and an extension of Line 2, were completed between 2016 and 2021. Line 11 connecting Kunshan city which is under Suzhou's administration, and beyond to the Shanghai Metro was completed on June 24, 2023.
Line 3 is an east-west line of Suzhou Rail Transit. The line is 45.272 kilometers long. The line links the Wuzhong District, Suzhou Industrial Park, and the Suzhou New District.
Line 4 is a line of Suzhou Rail Transit. It runs in a north-south alignment from Longdaobang station in Xiangcheng District's the northern suburbs, to the canal town of Tongli in Wujiang District in the south and Muli in the southwest. The line is 52.8 km long with 38 stations, which consists of a 41.5 kilometer long main line with 30 stations and a branch line.
Line 7 of Suzhou Rail Transit is an under construction rapid transit line in Suzhou. Construction started on December 25, 2019. The line will be 29.6 kilometers long.
Line 11 is a rapid transit line of the Suzhou Rail Transit system. It was formerly known as Line S1 during planning and construction. Construction started on November 27, 2018. It opened on 24 June 2023. The line uses driverless 6-car Class B rolling stock operating up to 100 km/h (62 mph). Partial through-running on Line 3 began on December 23, 2023, and full through-running began on June 29, 2024.
Line 8 of Suzhou Rail Transit is a L-shaped rapid transit line on both the east-west and north-south axes. It serves Suzhou New District, Gusu District, Xiangcheng District, and Suzhou Industrial Park. Construction started on September 30, 2019, and completed in March 2024. Line 8 was opened on September 10, 2024.
Line 10 of Suzhou Rail Transit is a under construction north–south regional rapid transit line in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. The Northern section of Line 10 is 90.34 km in length with 21 stations, including 13 elevated stations and 8 underground stations. The line was formerly known as Suzhou Rail Transit Line S5.
