This is a list of American-style colleges and universities outside the United States. It is meant to include only free-standing universities or satellite campuses, not programs by which one may study abroad at a non-American university.

The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is a private university in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Established in 1991, AUBG had about 1,000 students from over 40 countries on 5 continents as of Fall 2022. Close to 40% of the students are international.
The American University in Dubai (AUD) is a private for-profit university in Dubai, United Arab Emirates located in Dubai Media City. Founded in October 1995, AUD offers programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees. Being the first private university in the UAE, it provides an American-style liberal education.
Patrick Henry College (PHC) is a private liberal arts non-denominational conservative Protestant Christian college located in Purcellville, Virginia. Its departments teach classical liberal arts, government, strategic intelligence in national security, economics and business analytics, history, journalism, environmental science and stewardship, and literature. The university has full accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS-COC) as of 2022. Patrick Henry College continues to be accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), which is also recognized as an institutional accreditor by the United States Department of Education. Its graduation rate is 67%.
The International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP) is an international school located at the Mean Chey district in the city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is a private, non-profit, English language, coeducational day school that offers educational programs starting at early years 1 through Grade 12. The school was founded in 1989. Around 900 students were enrolled for the year of 2024 who represent 50 countries. This makes it a well diversified school which introduces a good culture mix for the students.
The University of Virginia's College at Wise is a public liberal arts college adjacent to Wise, Virginia. It is part of the University of Virginia, though separately accredited, and was established in 1954 as Clinch Valley College of the University of Virginia.
St. Andrews University is a private Presbyterian university in Laurinburg, North Carolina. It was established in 1958 as a result of a merger of Flora MacDonald College in Red Springs and Presbyterian Junior College; it was named St. Andrews Presbyterian College from 1960 until 2011 when the college changed its name to St. Andrews University. That same year, it merged with Webber International University of Babson Park, Florida. It is also home to the St. Andrews Press. In 2013, St. Andrews added its first graduate program, an MBA in business administration.

The Rochester Institute of Technology Croatia, previously known as the American College of Management and Technology is a satellite campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology located in Dubrovnik, and in Zagreb, Croatia. It is the only higher education institution in the country which grants both American and Croatian degrees. As an integral part of RIT, it has earned many international accreditations, such as The Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business for the quality of programs. Additionally, RIT Croatia has been accredited by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.
A satellite campus, branch campus or regional campus is a campus of a university or college that is physically at a distance from the original university or college area. This branch campus may be located in a different city, state, or country, and is often smaller than the main campus of an institution. The separate campuses may or may not be under the same accreditation and share resources or they share administrations but maintain separate budgets, resources, and other governing bodies.
The Rochester Institute of Technology of Dubai is a satellite campus of Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The college is located in the Dubai Silicon Oasis and started offering part-time graduate courses in Fall 2008. In 2009, the university began its full-time graduate program. RIT Dubai's first graduating class was in 2010, with the graduation ceremony taking place in Rochester, NY. In 2010, a full-time undergraduate program was started as part of the university's planned expansion. In the fall of 2011, RIT Dubai moved its campus to a new premises to accommodate the growing student body. By 2019, RIT plans to expand the campus to 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) to provide facilities for 4,000 students.
Tuol Kouk is a section (khan) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Tuol Kouk is well known for the large villas in its northern part of the district and is where most Cambodian elites reside. This district is subdivided into 10 sangkats and 143 villages. The district has an area of 7.99 km2. After boundary changes, its population has decreased to 145,570.
Northeast Lakeview College (NLC) is a public community college in Universal City, Texas. It is the newest of the five colleges in the Alamo Community College District. Its athletics teams compete as the Nighthawks and its mascot is Nico.
New York University Abu Dhabi is a degree-granting portal campus of New York University, established as a private liberal arts college in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Duke Kunshan University is a university in Kunshan, Jiangsu, China. It was established in 2018 by a joint venture between Duke University and Wuhan University. The university is an independent legal entity.
Northbridge International School Cambodia (NISC) is a privately owned English-speaking international school, catering for students aged between 2 and 18, located in Teuk Thlar Commune, Sen Sok Section, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The American University of Phnom Penh is a private English-medium university founded in August 2013, with a campus in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The university currently offers four-year American dual degree programs as well as stand-alone Bachelor's and MBA programs."Master's Programs".
AdventHealth University (AHU) is a Seventh-day Adventist institution specializing in healthcare education with campuses in Orlando, Florida, and Denver, Colorado. It is associated with AdventHealth, which is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system. The physical facilities are located next to AdventHealth Orlando and Centura Health in Denver. The university offers over 20 undergraduate and graduate degrees from associate to doctorate level, including online and post-baccalaureate certificates.
Canadian International School of Phnom Penh is an international school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
