List of Olympic female artistic gymnasts for Canada

Gymnastics events have been staged at the Olympic Games since 1896. [1] Canadian female gymnasts have participated in every Summer Olympics since 1956, except for 1980. [2] A total of 56 female gymnasts have represented Canada. Canadian women have not won any medals at the Olympics. [3] Teresa McDonnell, Ellie Black, and Shallon Olsen are the only Canadian female gymnasts who have competed in at least three Olympics. [4] [5]

Maria Kondratyevna Gorokhovskaya was a Soviet gymnast of Jewish descent. At the 1952 Summer Olympics, she was the first woman to win seven medals at one Olympics. That is the highest number of medals won by a woman in a single Olympics, which is an achievement shared by only one other female athlete, the Australian swimmer Emma McKeon, who achieved that at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in 2021.

Lisa Elena Jane Mason is a British gymnast who has competed for her country at the Commonwealth Games, European championships, World championships and the Olympic Games. She was the vault champion at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, and was part of the first Great Britain women's artistic gymnastic team to qualify for the team event at the Olympic Games.

Brittany Rogers is a Canadian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She attended the University of Georgia and competed for the Georgia Gym Dogs. Consequently, combining both elite and college gymnastics without deferral, Rogers is one of very few gymnasts to have undertaken this combination – vying for a spot on the 2016 Summer Olympics team.

Elvira Fuadovna Saadi is a retired gymnast from the former Soviet Union and a former elite gymnastics coach in Canada.

McKayla Rose Maroney is an American retired artistic gymnast. She was a member of the American women's gymnastics team dubbed the Fierce Five at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she won a gold medal in the team and an individual silver medal in the vault event. Maroney was also a member of the gold-winning American team at the 2011 World Championships, where she won gold medals in the team and vault competitions. She defended her World title and won the gold medal on vault at the 2013 World Championships, becoming the first U.S. female gymnast to defend a World Championship vault title.

Elsabeth Ann Black is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is a four-time Olympian, having represented her country at the 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024 Olympic games. She is the 2017 World all-around silver medallist, making her the first Canadian gymnast to win a world all-around medal, and she led the Canadian women's gymnastics team to a bronze medal in the 2022 World Championships team final, the first world team medal won by a Canadian gymnastics team. She won a silver medal on the balance beam at the 2022 World Championships. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around champion, a two-time Pan American Games all-around champion, and a six-time Canadian national all-around champion. At the 2020 Olympic Games, Black placed fourth in the balance beam final, the highest placement in the Olympics for a female Canadian gymnast.

Rose-Kaying Woo is a Canadian elite artistic gymnast who competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She also represented Canada at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships where she helped the Canadian team win a silver medal.

Victoria-Kayen Woo is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is the 2015 Pan American Games bronze medalist on balance beam and silver medalist with the team. She finished fourth with her team at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and she competed at the 2014 World Championships and 2015 World Championships.

The Canada women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Canada in FIG international competitions.

Shallon Jade Olsen is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World silver medallist and 2018 Commonwealth Games champion on vault. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games floor exercise bronze medallist and the 2019 Pan American Games vault bronze medallist. She was a member of the Canadian team that won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. She is also the 2016 Pacific Rim vault champion, team silver medallist, and floor exercise bronze medallist. She represented Canada at the 2016 Olympics where she was the youngest member of the Canadian Olympic team and at the 2020 Olympic Games. Additionally, she currently competes for the University of Alabama gymnastics team, and she helped the Crimson Tide win the 2021 SEC Championships.

Brooklyn Chloe Moors is a Canadian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games and represented Canada at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 World Championships. At the 2017 World Championships, she became the first Canadian to win the Longines Prize for Elegance. She is the 2019 Pan American Games champion on the floor exercise and the silver medalist with the team. She is also the 2017 Pan American champion on the floor exercise. She currently competes for the UCLA Bruins in collegiate gymnastics.

Emma Kathryn Mary Spence is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She represented Canada at the 2022 World Championships and won a bronze in the team event, their first team medal. She won bronze with the team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Individually she is the 2018 Youth Olympic bronze medallist on vault as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games all-around and balance beam bronze medalist.

Teresa McDonnell is a Canadian gymnast. She competed at the 1968 Summer Olympics, the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Kelly Muncey is a Canadian gymnast. She competed in six events at the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Ava Elizabeth Stewart is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She represented Canada at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. Additionally she was a member of the bronze medal winning teams at the 2022 Pan American Championships and 2023 Pan American Games.

Sydney Leslie Turner is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She won team bronze at the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships which was Canada's historic first team medal.
