This is a list of tennis players who have represented the Zimbabwe Davis Cup team in an official Davis Cup match. Zimbabwe have taken part in the competition since 1963. They were known as Rhodesia until 1981 [1]

Croatia Davis Cup team

The Croatia men's national tennis team represents Croatia in the Davis Cup and is governed by the Croatian Tennis Association. It is captained by Vedran Martić.

The 1995 Davis Cup was the 84th edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. 115 teams entered the competition, 16 in the World Group, 25 in the Americas Zone, 29 in the Asia/Oceania Zone, and 45 in the Europe/Africa Zone. Bermuda, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova and Pacific Oceania made their first appearances in the tournament.

The Zimbabwe men's national tennis team represents Zimbabwe in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Zimbabwe Tennis Association. Zimbabwe currently competes in the Europe/Africa Zone of Group II. They last competed in the World Group in 2000.

The 1986 Davis Cup was the 75th edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. This year's tournament marked the introduction of the Africa Zone, which served as a qualifying sub-round for the Europe Zone. 71 teams would enter the competition, 16 in the World Group, 33 in the Europe Zone, 13 in the Eastern Zone, and 9 in the Americas Zone. Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Libya, Malta and Syria made their first appearances in the tournament.

The 1987 Davis Cup was the 76th edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. 72 teams would enter the competition, 16 in the World Group, 32 in the Europe Zone, 13 in the Eastern Zone, and 11 in the Americas Zone.

The World Group was the highest level of Davis Cup competition in 1998. The first-round losers went into the Davis Cup World Group Qualifying Round, and the winners progressed to the quarterfinals and were guaranteed a World Group spot for 1999.

The Zimbabwe Fed Cup team represents Zimbabwe in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by Tennis Zimbabwe. They have not competed since 2008.

Sport in Zimbabwe

Sport in Zimbabwe has a long tradition and has produced many world recognized sports names and personalities. Football is the most popular sport, although rugby union, cricket, tennis, golf, and netball also have a following, traditionally among the middle class and the white minority. Field hockey is also played widely.

The World Group Qualifying Round were the main play-offs of 2002 Davis Cup. Winners advanced to the World Group, and loser were relegated in the Zonal Regions I.

Rhodesian passport

Rhodesian passports were issued by the government of Rhodesia to its citizens for purposes of international travel. They are no longer issued, having been superseded by Zimbabwean passports in 1980, with the country's reconstitution and renaming as Zimbabwe. Rhodesian passports were ostensibly valid for travel by Rhodesians anywhere in the world, but in practice they were accepted by very few countries.

Benjamin Lock is a Zimbabwean tennis player. He is a member of the Zimbabwe Davis Cup team.

The 2017 Davis Cup was the 106th edition of the Davis Cup, a tournament between national teams in men's tennis. It was sponsored by BNP Paribas. France won their tenth title, with Lucas Pouille defeating Steve Darcis of Belgium on indoor hard in the final match held at Stade Pierre-Mauroy located in Villeneuve-d'Ascq on 26 November.

The 2000 Davis Cup World Group Qualifying Round was held from 14 to 23 July. They were the main play-offs of the 2000 Davis Cup. The winners of the playoffs advanced to the 2001 Davis Cup World Group, and the losers were relegated to their respective Zonal Regions I.

2018 Davis Cup 2018 edition of the Davis Cup

The 2018 Davis Cup was the 107th edition of the Davis Cup, a tournament between national teams in men's tennis. It was sponsored by BNP Paribas. In 2018, new rules were introduced for the Group I and II zonal events, with ties now being played as best-of-three sets over the course of two days.

The Europe/Africa Zone is one of the three zones of the regional Davis Cup competition in 2018.

The 1999 Davis Cup World Group Qualifying Round was held from 24 to 26 September. They were the main play-offs of the 1999 Davis Cup. The winners of the playoffs advanced to the 2000 Davis Cup World Group, and the losers were relegated to their respective Zonal Regions I.

The 2020–21 Davis Cup was the 109th edition of the Davis Cup, a tournament between national teams in men's tennis. It was sponsored by Rakuten. For this edition, the format of the cup was changed. The new format saw the creation of a Davis Cup World Group I and World Group II which was played on a worldwide basis and replaced the regional Group I and Group II. As a result, the Davis Cup Nations Ranking was no longer used to determine which group a nation was played in. Previous the 2019, and the 2021 finals host Spain were the defending champions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on 26 June 2020 the ITF announced that the 2020 finals would take place from 22 until 28 November 2021. In addition, 24 World Group I and World Group II ties were postponed to March and September 2021, and the 2020 regional Group III and Group IV events were also postponed to 2021. The 18 nations that qualified for the finals kept their standing for the next year.
