Fijian law defines "towns" as urbanized areas incorporated as municipal bodies, governed by Town Councils.
The following localities are urbanized, but have not been municipally organized. They are urban areas for statistical purposes.
Suva is the capital and largest city of Fiji. It is the home of the country's largest metropolitan area and serves as its major port. The city is located on the southeast coast of the island of Viti Levu, in Rewa Province, Central Division.

Nausori is a town in Fiji. It had a population of 57,866 at the 2017 census. This makes it the fourth most populous municipality in the country. Situated 19 kilometers outside of Suva, it forms one pole of the burgeoning Suva-Nausori corridor. Nausori is home to three provinces Rewa, Tailevu and Naitasiri.
Nasinu is an urban area on the island Viti Levu in Fiji. It is officially designated a "Town" despite having a population larger than Suva City. Nasinu is the most populous municipality in Fiji, having overtaken that of Suva, and is one of Fiji's fastest-growing towns. Its land area is the largest of any municipal area in Fiji, and more than twice that of Suva. It is a major residential hub in Fiji, housing a large majority of the work force in Nasinu itself and in the Fijian capital, Suva. The Nasinu property market has experienced significant growth over the last several years, leading to substantial increases in property value.
The Fiji Football Association is the governing body of football in Fiji. It came into existence in 1961. It is the overseeing body of the Fiji National Team and its leagues.
Nausori International Airport, also known as Luvuluvu, is the secondary international airport in Fiji, behind Nadi International Airport. It is situated in Nausori on the south-eastern side of Viti Levu. Nausori Airport is roughly 23 km from Fiji's capital city, Suva. It was first constructed by U.S. Navy Seabees in 1942.

Suva Football Club is a Fijian football club that competes in the Fiji Premier League, the top flight of professional Fijian football. The club is based in Suva. Their home stadium is ANZ National Stadium.
Nasinu F.C. is a Fijian football team playing in the first division of the Fiji Football Association competitions. It is based in Nasinu, which is situated on the eastern side of the main island of Viti Levu, between the town of Nausori and the city of Suva. Their home stadium is Rishikul College Grounds. Their uniform is blue shirt, maroon shorts and blue socks. The club lost to Savusavu F.C in promotion and relegation 2010.

Colo-I-Suva Forest Park is a nature reserve near Suva, Fiji. It offers hiking trails, swimming, and birdwatching. The forest is part of the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy.
Sugar cane grew wild in Fiji and was used as thatch by the Fijians for their houses (bures). The first attempt to make sugar in Fiji was on Wakaya Island in 1862 but this was a financial failure. With the cotton boom of the 1860s there was little incentive to plant a crop that required high capital outlay but after a slump in cotton prices in 1870, the planters turned to sugar. In an effort to promote the production of sugar in Fiji, the Cakobau Government, in December 1871, offered a 500-pound reward for the first and best crop of twenty of sugar from canes planted before January 1873.
Nakasi is a suburb located along the Suva-Nausori corridor, in the Central Division of the Republic of Fiji. The 9½ Miles factor is also used to identify the locality as it denotes the distance from Suva as it forms the common identification of the suburbs along the Kings Highway from Suva to Nausori. Nakasi is located 15 km north-east of Suva city and 5 km south of Nausori. It falls under the jurisdiction of the local government area of the township of Nausori. Nakasi is one of the largest of the many suburbs along the Suva-Nausori corridor. The current population stands at 18,919.
The sport of football in the country of Fiji is run by the Fiji Football Association. The association administers the national football team as well as the FPL. The national team has had little international success.
The Suva-Nausori corridor is a conurbation made up of 3 municipalities of Suva, Nasinu and Nausori. It includes the settlements of Lami and Nakasi. The Suva-Nausori corridor hosts two roads – Kings Road is the main road and Ratu Dovi Road which travels from Suva to Laqere. The poles of the Suva-Nausori corridor are Suva and Nausori and they are about 19 km apart.
The 2003 Pacific Games women's football tournament was the inaugural edition of Pacific Games women's football tournament. The competition was held in Fiji from 30 June to 10 July 2003..
