John Serry Sr. was an American concert accordionist, arranger, composer, organist, and educator. He performed on the CBS Radio and Television networks and contributed to Voice of America's cultural diplomacy initiatives during the Golden Age of Radio. He also concertized on the accordion as a member of several orchestras and jazz ensembles for nearly forty years between the 1930s and 1960s.

Katherine Hoover was an American composer of Contemporary classical music and Chamber music, flutist, teacher of Musical composition and Music theory, poet, and later a conductor of her music. Her career as a composer began when few women composers earned recognition in Classical music in the 1970s. As shown in her list of known works, she has composed pieces for solo flute, mixed ensembles, chamber orchestra, choir, full orchestra, and many other combinations of instruments and voice. Dale Wood was the pseudonym of American composer William Lawrence Hansen. Under his pseudonym, he had a written a variety of songs with several notable composers and lyricists. Examples include Clay Boland, jazz musician Jack Lathrop, Murray Grand, and Michael Grace. As William Lawrence Hansen, his music experience was in the compilation and editing of music and text for television industry, Walt Disney Studios, and related industries. An exception was of having produced the University of Pennsylvania Songbook as Bill Hansen. However, outside of documentation at the US Copyright Office and the Library of Congress for his compositions, little is known of him.
