This list of newspapers currently being published in the Philippines includes broadsheets and tabloids published daily and distributed nationwide. Regional newspapers or those published in the regions are also included. Almost all broadsheets published nationwide are in English; most tabloids are published in Tagalog.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI), or simply the Inquirer, is an English-language newspaper in the Philippines. Founded in 1985, it is often regarded as the Philippines' newspaper of record. The newspaper is the most awarded broadsheet in the Philippines and the multimedia group, called The Inquirer Group, reaches 54 million people across several platforms.

<i>Manila Bulletin</i> Philippine newspaper

The Manila Bulletin is the Philippines' largest English language broadsheet newspaper by circulation. Founded in 1900, it is the second oldest extant newspaper published in the Philippines and the second oldest extant English newspaper in the Far East. It bills itself as "The Nation's Leading Newspaper", which is its official slogan.

<i>Inquirer Compact</i>

The Inquirer Compact was a newspaper in the Philippines published in the compact format. Published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, it was the first attempt by a major Philippine broadsheet newspaper to launch a smaller compact edition which was not a tabloid. Although the newspaper was launched on November 14, 2005, it debuted during the Philippine Ad Congress held two weeks after on November 27 in Cebu City.

People's Journal is an English-language daily tabloid newspaper published by the Philippine Journalists Incorporated. Augusto "Gus" Villanueva, its former editor-in-chief, and Antonio Friginal were founders of the company.

Billie Mary "Betty" Chua Go-Belmonte was a Filipina journalist and newspaper publisher. She established the STAR Group of Publications which publishes the national newspaper, The Philippine Star and The Freeman, the tabloids Pilipino Star Ngayon, Pang-Masa, and Banat, as well as the magazines Starweek, People Asia, and The Fookien Times Yearbook.

The United Daily News is a daily broadsheet newspaper in the Philippines written in the Chinese language. As of 2008, the newspaper had a circulation of 32,000, making it the Philippines' second-largest Chinese-language newspaper in terms of circulation, after the World News.

The 2016 presidential campaign of Miriam Defensor Santiago, a then-incumbent Senator of the Philippines, was announced on October 13, 2015 at a book signing event. Miriam Defensor-Santiago submitted her certificate of candidacy (COC) on October 16, 2015. She was fifth overall in the election and lost to Rodrigo Duterte. Santiago died of lung cancer five months later.
